Maya Skylar (Japanese: 藤本舞, Fujimoto Mai) is a student in class 5-2 and a classmate to Nate and Katie.

Shelly[]

Maya is interested in giving Shelly a makeover and improving her fashion, much to Shelly's chagrin. Despite this, the two are on friendly terms and there's no ill-will in Maya's makeover, Maya makes several appearances in the anime.

Megan[]

She and Megan are friends. They share a similar interest in fashion.

Maya makes a minor appearance in the request "Super Style!", where she will talk to the player about fashion and admit that she doesn't know much about adult's fashion.

Yo-kai Watch 2[]

In Makeover Takeover, Maya tries to convince Shelly into changing her style to improve Shelly's confidence. Nate/Katie intervene with the help of Dazzabel, but the inspirited Shelly ends up making fashion decisions Maya points out as hideous choices. Regardless, Maya expresses her determination to make Shelly stylish.

In Too Much Makeover, Maya continues her efforts to make Shelly more fashionable by taking her to cafes, but when Shelly fails to arrive on time, she recruits the player to find her. Once together, Maya takes Shelly to the Excellent Tower cafe and have a pleasant time. Maya decides to take Shelly to Cafe Shanista next, but Shelly becomes too intimidated.

In the postgame, Maya can be seen hanging out with Natalie at the Everymart in Blossom Heights.

Yo-kai Watch 3[]

She is initially found in the Blossom Heights Everymart.

During the Quest "Meet Up with Megan", It is revealed that she has not been showing up to hang out with Megan for a few days, which is strange for her. During the quest, she wanders off to Cafe Shanista, then to Sunset Mall, where it's revealed that a Snailspace had been inspiriting her. Once it is defeated, she realizes what she was doing, and runs off to apologize to Megan.

Trivia[]

As of Yo-kai Watch 3, it is revealed that her full name is Maya Skylar, during a quest involving her and Megan from class 5-1.
