He also has an Awoken Rank SS form that is a stronger variant of the existing Yo-kai.
Medama-Oyaji debuted in Yo-kai Watch Shadowside: The Return of the Oni King, alongside his friends that were lead by his son, Kitaro.

Medama-Oyaji has one giant eyeball for a head, along with a little body that has no clothing. Before he was reborn around before Kitaro was born out of his mother, he was a full grown adult ghost that resembled a green-faced mummy, but he caught a disease that made his body disintegrate, leaving only his eyeball.
He is the father of Kitaro, and was once a fully-formed adult ghost, but after perishing from a disease, he was reborn from his decayed body as an anthropomorphic version of his own eyeball.
His Awoken form in Wibble Wobble has an additional towel on his head.

Yo-kai Watch 4[]
In Yo-kai Watch 4, Medama-Oyaji is missing and The Detective Agency has to find the missing eyeball. Kitaro tells them that he feels a strong Ghost Energy in two places, Tatsumi Kawabata North and the Shin Motomachi Shopping area. In Tatsumi Kawabata North, they find Honmaguro-taishou, who tells them that a small eyeball Yo-kai asked him if fish-eyes are good for the eyesight. This creeped him out. In Shin Motomachi Shopping area, the squad finds Ogu, Togu and Mogu. They tell Touma about a eyeball Yo-kai who rushed into a store to search for something. The gang goes to Kitaro and they try to get all the evidence together. Kitaro thinks that Medama-Oyaji maybe searched for eye drops. Whisper tells them that the Yo-kai World has super special eye drops called "Mega Pachi Clean". Those eye drops don't exist anymore, so they travel to the past Yo-kai World and talk with Insomni, the shop owner. She tells them she hasn't seen Medama-Oyaji and the eye drops are sold out, but after after a fight she gives them her eye drops. [Will finish later]

Etymology[]
Medama-Oyaji (Japanese: 目玉おやじ or 目玉親父) translates into "Eyeball Father". Official translations of the manga and anime also have had his name be "Daddy Eyeball."
Trivia[]
- A parody version of him was briefly shown during one of Komasan's meetings in Komasan, Movin' On Up! Episode 4. Though it went unnamed in the English dub, it was called Medama-Girl (目玉の女の子).
