Melamelion (Japanese: メラメライオン Merameraion) is a Rank B Shadowside Yo-kai of the Goriki tribe.
In Yo-kai Watch World, he is a Rank S Yo-kai of the Brave tribe.

Biology[]
In his Lightside form, Melamelion appears more humanoid, and he now wears clothing similar to his present form.
Adding to that, his red mane is not on fire, similar to how the first anime series portrayed him when in a rare calm, non-blazing state. Instead, he has red hair that looks like the tip of a burning candle.
In his Shadowside form, Merameraion appears similar to a more muscular version of his appearance in the present series. The flames of his mane burn even brighter, and his eyebrows appear to turn into horns. Various flame patterns appear on his arms and wrists.
He wears a necklace resembling a lion's teeth, and no shirt or pants.

Yo-kai Watch 4[]
Melamelion is befriended once you complete Mystery 2, The Hot-Blooded Man, in Chapter 3. He appears in Soukenzan, in Ark doors and rifts in the Yo-kai World (Past) and in Yo-kai Spots in Shin-motomachi Shopping Area. He can also be found in the Gutsy Bones battles in Enma Tournament - Oni Arena as well as in the Bushinyan (Shadowside), Orcanos, Hoggles and Shien missions in PuraPura Blasters. He can be befriended through Konkatsu with two silver souls, three red souls and three gold souls.
Summer summons him in Chapter 4 to allow them to withstand the cold in Jack's world.

Melamelion makes his debut in Yo-kai Watch Shadowside: The Return of the Oni King. He is one of the Yo-kai summoned by Summer with the Yo-kai Watch Arcane to aid her in the fight against Oniou Rasen.
