Biology[]
Messyrai looks almost identical to Brushido, but the colors are different. Its eyes, which are surrounded by orange, are closed. It wears a red hat with the kanji 汚 (kitana), which means dirty or filthy, and a red and grey samurai-esque outfit. Instead of a broom, it carries a basket of dirt on its back.
In contrary to the hard-working Brushido army and Washogun, who dedicate their lives to cleaning, the Messyrai army love making messes. They are subsequently drawn to slovenly behavior, deferring leadership to especially dirty individuals.
Messyrai has the ability to make everything in their path completely dirty and messy.

Yo-kai Watch[]
The Messyrai army appears in The House Cleaning War!, drawn by Jibanyan's unclean behavior. Having taken over Nate's room as their stronghold, they proceed to mess up the house after the army of Washogun and Brushido have cleaned it up. Once Jibanyan is revealed, they drag the unwilling Yo-kai to meet Washogun and Brushido in battle.
Messyrai was summoned in EP205 during a beach clean-up organized by school, where he asks the Yo-kai to leave a trail of trash to the lookout point so he could watch the sunset with Katie. Messyrai ends up leading the trail away from Katie and Bearmie ends up following it instead.
