The Fox Appears! is the seventh chapter in the Yo-kai Watch: Wakuwaku Nyanderful Days manga series.
Plot[]
Kyubi transforms into his human form
The night after last chapter, Katie is still wondering what Venoct meant by the fox. Whisper tries to explain the Yo-kai World, but Katie ignores him and falls asleep. Meanwhile, in the Yo-kai World, Kyubi and Frostail are having a fight about which one of them is better at charming girls. Frostail mentions he has been in the top spot for Ideal Yo-kai Boyfriend for 10 years straight, but only by a one vote difference. A Cynake and Pinkipoo annoyedly remark that they look a same, which Frostail responds to by attacking them. Kyubi claims Frostail blackmailed the editor to give him the top spot, which Frostail denies. Frostail challenges Kyubi to see which one of them can charm the most girls, with Kyubi leaving for the Human world before he can even finish his sentence.
Kyubi apparently predicted the Human world would become a trend, which is why he visited so many times. Kyubi notices Katie walking down the street, asking Jibanyan to stop being so clingy. He immediately set his sights on her, and begins by bumping into her in the street. Kyubi realises he's blushing after they get up, as Katie asks if he's okay. Kyubi's next strategy is to get into a singing and dancing with Katie, but Katie just accidentally slaps him out of instinct. Kyubi implies he's a foreigner, and Katie calls him strange. This makes Kyubi angry that she called an S-Rank Yo-kai like him strange, leading to his tails to be exposed. This ends up with Katie learning his name. After Katie introduces herself, she leaves. Kyubi then realises he's fallen for Katie himself as he uncontrollably blushes. Komasan, who witnessed the whole thing, is shocked that Kyubi randomly grew tails.
