Yo-kai Medallium biography
"A handsome Treasure Yo-kai who does not allow anything to be more beautiful than himself, and tries to erase those things when he finds them. Anyone inspirited by Narcis II will become a narcissist."

Narcis II (Japanese: ナルシス2世 Narushisu Nisei) is a Rank S, Water-attribute Treasure Yo-kai of the Eerie tribe introduced in Yo-kai Watch Busters 2.

Appearance[]

Biology[]

Narcis II is a humanoid Yo-kai dressed like an Egyptian pharaoh with a pink cobra draped around his neck. He is seen holding a gold mirror in his hand.

Narcis II is very self-obsessed, and almost constantly staring into his mirror. He seems to hold great resentment for beings he perceives to be cuter than himself, and great amusement at those who are uglier.

Being inspirited by Narcis II causes the victim to become as narcissistic as he is. He is one of the Yo-kai needed to unseal Yodelsen.

Narcis II in Yo-kai Narcis II

Narcis ll first appeared in Busters Treasure Arc #16: Beautiful Handsome Ruins and Yo-kai Narcis II. He inspirits Nate and he snaps, using his watch to find him at the end.

Nate summons Fitwit to stop Narcis II. He slowly turns into a Fitwit himself, and his snake gets freaked out every time Narcis II becomes more and more like Fitwit. By the end of the episode, Narcis II and Fitwit seem to grow closer.

Etymology[]

Narcis II's name is derived from "narcissism", an extreme type of self-pride that makes one incredibly selfish and self-centered. He is also based on the myth of Narcissus, a man who loves himself, and not any other women.

Trivia[]

  • Narcis II is the only Treasure Yo-kai to appear to Indiana Jaws and Nate in the same episode, though in different segments.
  • Narcis II's medal artwork contains Narcissus flowers, which were named after the Narcissus of legend. The flower is usually all that is left of Narcissus after his death in tellings of his story.
