A blue Yo-kai with a gray mustache. He wears a large, brown hat that covers most of his face, except his eyes. He also wears a yellow shirt and black pants that covers his ghostly tail. Nervous Rex makes people have a feeling of anxiety or insecurity.

Nervous Rex debuts in EP125 where he was inspiriting Nate's mom, dad and Jibanyan, he was later defeated by Peppillon.

Nervous Rex made another appearance EP168 where he inspirits Hailey Anne's mother and little brother during Golden week.

Etymology

• "Fuankan" is a wordplay on fuankan (不安感, "uneasiness, anxiety") and hoankan (保安官, "sheriff").
• His English name is a portmanteau of the phrase "nervous wreck" and the name "Rex."
• "Werner Avif" is a portmanteau of the phrase "nerfs à vif"(raw nerve),which means to be irritated and the name "Werner."
• Sheriff Agonio would translate as "Sheriff Agony", being Agonio a corruption of agonía (agony).
• "Ansiosceriffo" is a portmanteau of "Ansioso" (Anxious) and "Sceriffo" (Sheriff).
