Nocturne Hospital (Japanese: かげむら医院 Kagemura-iin) is an area located in Shopper's Row that appears in the Yo-kai Watch games. It is a four-story abandoned hospital that fell into disuse before the events of the video game, which became a location for Yo-kai.
This place plays a major role in Yo-kai Watch and Yo-kai Watch 3, while it is an area for an optional Quest in Yo-kai Watch 2. All of them involve a Boss Yo-kai called Dr. Maddiman whom resides in the area.
Overview[]
Nocturne Hospital is a hospital that has four floors, three of which that can be explored. The first two floors can be accessed via walking on the staircase while the third floor can be visited with a climbing vine from the left side of the hospital's exterior. Another vine can be climbed from the second floor by activating it on the bottom-right corner of the floor.
In Yo-kai Watch 2, going back in time to Old Springdale reveal that the hospital seemed to be operational, but the interior cannot be accessed by the player.

Yo-kai Watch 2[]
In Yo-kai Watch 2, the hospital is blocked off initially by a Rank D watch lock. This only allows entrance to the hospital grounds. A Rank B watch lock blocks off the entrance and 3rd floor.
There are five yellow chests on the first floor, one in the west just south of the barricade, one in the north-west of the central block, one in the east of the central area past the swimming pool, one in the far east in the eastern-most room in the north and one in the western-most room in the north east of the operating room. There are three yellow chests on the second floor, one in the far north-west, one in the west of the central-northern room just before the barricade of rubble and one in the south-westernmost room. There are three yellow chests on the third floor with two accessed from the second floor and one accessed from outside. From the second floor, one yellow chest is in the north-east, just north of the toilets with the other being in the western-most room that can be accessed from this entrance. From outside, a yellow chest is in the eastern-most room locked behind a Rank B Watch Lock.

- There are some instances of graffiti on the walls of Nocturne Hospital that say "UISSU", which is actually based off Whisper's verbal tic "Whissu" (ウィスー！）in the Japanese version of Yo-kai Watch. However, this was strangely kept in the localized versions.
- In SS027 of the Yo-kai Watch Shadowside anime, the Yo-kai Detective Agency visits a place that heavily resembles the Nocturne Hospital, despite the interior looking different and the outside having little-to-no buildings.
- It may be named after its founder, as Dr. Nocturne is Dr. Maddiman's son.
