Oda Nobunyaga (Japanese: 織田 のぶニャが, Oda Nobunyaga) is a character from the Samurai Cats series. In Yo-kai Sangokushi, Oda Nobunyaga is a Rank C, Fire-attribute Rare Commander Yo-kai of the Brave Tribe.

In Yo-kai Sangokushi: Kunitori Wars, he is a Rank S Yo-kai.

In Yo-kai Sangokushi, he is one of the Yo-kai required to unlock Unchikuma Kou Shi.

Biology

Oda Nobunyaga is a grey and white cat with a bushy ponytail. His eyes are bigger than most cat yokai, and his arms and legs have more definition. His eyes are yellow with green irises, he has a thin mustache, and pronounced chest fur. He wears dark grey armor and a red cape with a yellow outline, and carries a purple fan.

Yo-kai Sangokushi

Oda Nobunyaga appears in the Quest "Astray Sengoku Yo-kai" (Japanese: 迷いこんだ 戦国妖怪, Mayoikonda Sengoku Youkai). In the Quest, Ungai Sanmenkyou Dei Kou caught a cold earlier that day. His sneeze from earlier that day accidentally brought Oda Nobunyaga into their world. After Oda Nobunyaga shows up, the player must fight him and his team. After defeating him, Oda Nobunyaga introduces himself, and the Quest is finished. The player receives his medal as a reward for completing the Quest.

Etymology

"Oda Nobunyaga" is a pun on "Oda Nobunaga" with "nyanya" (Japanese: ニャーニャー, Japanese onomatopoeia for a cat's meow)

Origin

Oda Nobunyaga is a character that hails from the Samurai Cats series, a series of games made by Koei based on the Sengoku period of Japan. In the Samurai Cats series, all figures in that time period are replaced with cat counterparts.
