Oden of the Soul Pt. 1 is a side Quest in Yo-kai Watch 2. The quest can be started by seeking out Master Oden in Springdale at night. It is recommended to be completed around Level 11 at Watch Rank D.

Quest plot[]
By talking to Master Oden, he introduces himself and tells the player that he is searching for superior ingredients for his oden soup. He then asks the player for help and tasks them with finding three Steppa Souls and promises to return them to the player after use. Once giving him the Steppa Souls, he uses and returns them to the player, stating he will need more ingredients but has not decided what they are. He then thanks the player and the quest ends.
Rewards[]
By completing the quest, the player is granted 113 Experience Points, along with three Steamed Daikon. If lucky, the player may also obtain bonus rewards from the cutscene that plays after completing a quest.
Trivia & Tips[]
- Master Oden can spawn in locations across Springdale - most notably Uptown Springdale, Shoppers Row & Blossom Heights. There may be multiple locations in these areas which he can spawn in. He can also only spawn on Clear Nights, make sure the Weather icon on the radar is a half-moon.
