Biology[]
Ogralus closely resembles Gargaros, being a towering figure with clawed limbs and huge teeth. Distinguishing him from the other oni are his blue skin, red ponytail, and the two straight horns poking out of his head. He wears a grass skirt and carries a massive, spiked club.
In his human form, he looks like a normal man with blue outfit, although he has two horns. He also seems to be able to speak full sentences without screaming, unlike Gargaros and Orcanos.
Ogralus is even more ruthless than his brother, often more willing to teleport himself to the player's location, even if the player technically has not been spotted. He will chase down the player with ruthless efficiency.
Ogralus appears if his brother, Gargaros, is defeated, representing an increase in the difficulty of Terror Time.
Unlike Gargaros and Orcanos, Ogralus prefers to fight using his water Elemental Attack, which can prove problematic as many of the game's mascot Yo-kai, such as Jibanyan, Komasan, and Kyubi, are weak to water. His soultimate is very strong although his attacks are weak.
Profile[]
Yo-kai Watch[]
Ogralus will appear as a boss during Terror Time if his brother, Gargaros, is defeated. If Ogralus is defeated in turn, the even more powerful Orcanos will begin to appear.
If you unlocked this boss you have most likely already defeated Gargaros, so your team should be around level 80. However, Ogralus's battle strategy is the exact opposite, and he will be using elemental water attacks nearly all the time, while Gargaros mostly went for physical moves. As stated before, avoid bringing any Yo-kai weak to water moves. The easiest strategy to beat this boss revolves around using a tank with a water resistance: the absolute best pick for this is Goldenyan, since it packs an inspirit that boosts all stats and its Soultimate move further reduces lightning and water damage, but if you have Castelius Max, which is way more likely to be found (you can fuse Castelius I with a Platinum Bar, obtainable in Jungle Hunter, or find it in Breezy Hills at night), it will still work wonders. Swosh should do the job too, if you manage to find it. Before the battle starts, equip your tank of choice with the Sticker of Hate, which will draw the boss's attention (the defense debuff doesn't matter that much), then use a Defense Talisman on it during the free item turn before the battle starts (make sure to bring a lot of them with you and don't forget to re-apply them if the effect runs out), and channel your Soultimate as soon as you enter the battle proper. Pair it with a healer to keep it alive and a fast attacker to deal constant damage, and you can trivialize most of the fight. Make sure to switch to the back row if it starts channeling its Soultimate, because it's still a very strong physical attack that can be hard to withstand even if you have the most defensive Yo-kai in the game. From now on, it will mostly be a battle of endurance, but nothing a properly-leveled team can't handle.
Yo-kai Watch 2[]
Ogralus is exclusive to Psychic Specters. Get a key from Mr E outside of the old house in San Fantastico. You can go into Mystery Way but need to link Fleshy Souls with Psychic Specters. You will eventually encounter Toadal Dude by a door. If you enter you will appear in terror time at Fox Shrine Road. Go to the shrine to find Ogralus. Battle him, though one must note that like Slimamander and SV Snaggerjag, Ogralus is a Boss Yo-kai, so he does not accept food and can only have a raised befriend chance with either a Yo-kai with the Popularity Skill or one holding a Superstar Soul, and after the battle he has a chance to befriend you.
In Yo-kai Watch 2 and Yo-kai Watch 3, there is also a chance that he will show up to challenge you if you obey the crosswalk rules.
Yo-kai Watch 3[]
Ogralus can be freed from a Crank-a-kai using a Demonic Coin or in the Oni Crank-a-kai.
He can be obtained as a Clu-T-fact in Blasters T in the Pyramid of Clu ① and can be fought as a Boss in the same dungeon. He can also be found in Enma Palace ⑤ and ⑦.
He can also be encountered by incorrectly crossing the road instead of Snartle.
Yo-kai Watch 4[]
Ogralus can be encountered by incorrectly crossing the road ten times.
Yo-kai Watch Blasters[]
Ogralus is a prize for the Big Boss Mission Hunt for Ultra Ogralus! as a 4 White Dog Squad only prize.
He is required for the White Dog Squad HQ Yo-kai Circle.
Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble[]
Gargaros was obtainable during the third terror time event
Occasionally he also appears in the Oni Crank-a-kai in event periods.

- As well, if hacked into the game, Ogralus has a working moveset instead of just standing there.
- Ogralus' "random" nicknames are: Ol' Sky, Two-Horn, Mr. Blue, and Splash.
