Yo-kai Medallium biography
"He's a solid yokai who refreshes adults who are tired from commuting with the exhilaration of tapping away at their smartphones."

Punijiro (Japanese: ぷにじろう Punijirō) is a Rank A Rare Yo-kai of the Charming tribe introduced in Yo-kai Watch Busters 2.

Appearances[]

Biology[]

Appearance[]

Punijiro resembles Komajiro, the difference being that his body has a gelatinous texture, and it is pale orange in color. His flame swirls, the inside of his ears, and the symbol on his navel are cyan in color. He carries a purplish-colored bag on his back.

Abilities[]

Like other Puni Yo-kai, his inspirit involves possessing humans, specifically adults with their phones to play games in order to relax. Due to the nature of this Yo-kai's existence, it is likely he possesses people to play some form of Wibble Wobble in their universe.

Profile[]

Yo-kai Watch Busters 2[]

He could only be obtained in Sword by entering in a code for the Wib Wob Key Item obtained from Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble, after clearing missions to obtain Punifuyu in the game. As of February 14, 2020, the missions are no longer available on new accounts, but they still can be cleared on existing accounts before the date. He will be found at the Wandering Stadium, where he can be fought and befriended via the regular method.

Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble[]

Punijiro was introduced in a set of trials relating to him and Punifuyu, released on December 16, 2017. Punijiro was befriended after the first trial was complete, which required a stunning clear of stage 35 without needing a continue. Punijiro was required for later parts of the trials to obtain Punifuyu and download codes for Busters 2.

Kakusei Punijiro appeared in an event that lasted from October 1, 2019, to October 15, 2019, with an increased chance to be pulled from October 1, 2019, to October 4, 2019. Punijiro Awoken can also be obtained from the Punipuni or Toma coins.

Etymology[]

Like the other Puni Yo-kai, his name is a companion of Puni (ぷに) and part of his original's name, in this case, the "Jiro" (じろう) part of Komajiro's name.

Trivia[]

  • Oddly, Punijiro's flames resemble Komasan's more than Komajiro's. The opposite is true with Wibblekoma and Komajiro.
