Puyos (Japanese: ぷよ,Puyo) are the eponymous jelly-like creatures from the Puyo Puyo franchise. They are S-Rank Yo-kai of various tribes exclusively in Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble.
Puyos resemble jelly, slime, or just blobs in general. They have large eyes, and the entire color of their bodies and eyes can vary. The expression in their eyes also change depending on their color. Colored puyos are known to come in red, yellow, green, blue, and purple. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and they are also known to be edible.
During the "PuyoPuyo Collaboration" Event that lasted from March 15, 2022, to March 31, 2022, all colored puyos appeared throughout all stages on the first three event maps except for Boss Stages. The player could befriend them upon defeating them.
While not playable, Garbage Puyos would sometimes fall on the board after popping a Wib Wob on any event stage. To get rid of them, the player would need to pop a Size 3 Wib Wob or higher near the Puyo, or they would need to pop it with a Soultimate Move.
