Befriended: "*phew* that was tiring! Why not rest a while and let me, er, examine you!"
Loafing: "I'm out cold!"
Traded: "If you're feeling tired, just tell me, I'll help you Re-Q-Perate!"
"Batan Q" is an alteration of batankyū (Japanese: バタンキュー,literally meaning; "dropping asleep, going out like a light").
"Re-Q-Perate" and "Re-Q-Pera" comes from the term "recuperate", a term meaning to recover from an illness or exertion. This can also be figure of speech for recovering from a tiring experience hence his powers.
B-Quem comes from Bequem (comfortable)
Re-Q-Perate is the second Legendary Yo-kai to make their anime debut inside Nate's house. The first Legendary Yo-kai to do this is Shogunyan.
Of the Legendary Yo-kai introduced in Yo-kai Watch 3, Re-Q-Perate is the only one who retains the requirement of filling out a Legend Page to befriend in Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble. Princess Pearl and Asura were befriendable via pulls from the Crank-a-kai. Whyvern King had an event stage dedicated to him.
Re-Q-Perate is also the only new Legendary Yo-kai from Yo-kai Watch 3 to appear in all three versions of the game in Japan.
