Recap (Japanese: こそどろ帽 Kosodorubō) is a Yo-Criminal introduced in Yo-kai Watch. He is the Yo-Criminal counterpart of Wazzat.

Biology[]
Recap has a similar appearance to Wazzat, looking like a black hat. He has thick, green lips that form the brim with scattered square teeth. He has a pink bow/ribbon around him, somewhat like a nose. On top are two eye-stalks with swirled eyes.

Recap's crime is "Pretending to drop an eraser and copy off his neighbors test." The player will get "Hat Trophy" as a reward.

Recap's crime is "Stole crush's flute so she missed her recital." The player will get "Sleep 'n' Study" as a reward.

Recap's crime is "Took deep breaths from the hat of a special someone." The player will get "2600 WP" as a reward.

Etymology[]
- "Recap" derives from the term "recap," meaning to retell previous events as a summary, and "cap," meaning hat.
- "Recumbrero" comes from "Recapitulación" (Recap) and "Sombrero" (Hat).
Trivia[]
- His English name may cause confusion, as there is another Wazzat recolor with a similar name, being Dummkap, possibly leading one to believe that Recap is a recolor of Dummkap. However, this is disproven by their attributes.
