Rinne is a humanoid Yo-kai with turquoise skin, fuchsia hair styled as four horns in the front, and eyes with yellow sclera. He wears a black robe with a teal-colored smoke-like pattern in the sleeves and the shin areas, with a dark, red-colored jacket over the tights and a frontal dark yellow decorative cloth with purple eye-like patterns, both held together by a golden sash tied with an orange string, and black boots with orange-colored strings. To complement his attire, he carries a rosary made by purple beads. He carries a small version of the Bhavacakra with purple whisps at the end of each of the beams, symbolizing his philosophy of the Samsara. Finally, he has two long purple wisps circling around him.

Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble[]
Warning: plot & spoiler details are listed below.
Centuries ago in his adolescence, Rinne once met a little girl who wasn't afraid of Yo-kai and bonded with her, but she loses her life when trying to fix the controversial bonds of humans and Yo-kai by Ancient Enma, causing Rinne to develop a hatred for the entire Enma Clan.
He appears again in present time, teaming up with the Goku Yo-kai in hopes of getting his revenge.
During the segment, he first battles Whisper (who was unaware he was fighting) and brutally beats them. Afterwards, Tomnyan fights him, and while he isn't as brutally beaten, he is still defeated.
However, despite winning, Jerry appears and ends up obtaining his ark by tickling him, pulling off the wheel behind him, then pulling the ark out of his hair, ending the episode with him embarrassed and exhausted.

Etymology[]
Rinne translates to "endless cycle of rebirth".
Origin[]
Rinne is the Japanese translation of Samsara, in Buddhism, it is the "suffering-laden cycle of life, death, and rebirth, without beginning or end" this cycle is often depicted in the Bhavacakra, as a six-segmented wheel (representing 6 realms of existence on which Samsara occurs) this is represented by the wheel that floats behind Rinne's back.
Trivia[]
Rinne is the first ever Z-Rank Yo-kai.
Rinne is the first Yo-kai in Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble that can level up to Level 60.
Unlike most Yo-kai, Rinne's Keystone seems to be physically within him, while most Yo-kai fade into energy and leave their Keystone behind.
