"Rinne shows off the dignity of a Goku Yo-kai in flashy celebratory costumes in order to not lose to his arch-nemesis, Lord Enma. It seems that the entertainment is not bad once in a while."
Rinne Matsuri wears a black robe with purple-colored bubbles-like pattern in the sleeves and the shin areas, with a dark, purple-colored jacket over the tights and a frontal dark yellow decorative cloth with purple eye-like patterns, both held together by a purple sash tied with an orange-purple string, he wears a puffy scarf and is wearing a yellow zori with purple-colored strings. To complement his attire, he carries a rosary made by purple beads. He carries a small version of the Bhavacakra with purple whisps at the end of each of the beams, symbolizing his philosophy of the Samsara. Finally, he has two long purple wisps circling around him.

Rinne Matsuri appeared in the "Yo-kai Watch Series" 8th Anniversary Event-Dream Co-Fight! Great Youma Festival" Event that lasted from July 1st, 2021, to July 15th, 2021. He can be befriended in the impossible stage, with the only purpose for fusing him with Enma Daiou Matsuri for obtain Goku Enma, and get the Y-points bonus in the event slingshots.
Rinne Matsuri returned in the "Rinne Past Edition ~Bonds with Setsuna~" Event that lasted from January 16th, 2023, to January 31st, 2023. Available through the limited Crank-a-kai since January 25th, 2023 until January 26th, 2023, dealing more damage against Chou Kakusei Gurerurin slingshots.
