The Wandering Komajiro (Japanese: さまよえるコマじろう Samayoeru Komajirou) is the 27th episode of the Yo-kai Watch Shadowside anime. It was broadcasted in Japan on October 5, 2018.
Summary[]
Komasan was originally a dog called Nobushige, who was kept at the shrine at Bruno's place. He was crushed under a fallen komainu, and became a Yo-kai. It seems that Komasan was not crushed alone, as his younger brother “Komajiro” was with him, but there was no sign of Komajiro after Komasan became a Yo-kai. However, when Bruno, his grandma, and the others go to pay the graves of Komasan and Komajiro a visit, there is actually a hole behind Komajiro’s grave. Cole summons the Progenitor Minamoto to look for Komajiro, and discovers that he appears to be near the pond. Finally, Komajiro emerges from the grass, but his appearance is...

- This episode confirms that the Komasan and Komajiro appearing in Shadowside are different individuals from the ones from the original series.
- Despite being two separate set of Yo-kai who share the same names, both Komasans and Komajiros have an unbreakable brotherly bond.
- The heart-shaped spell younger Mitsue casts in Bruno's fantasies is real, since it is later cast by Isabelle in episode 33.
- Since the foreshadowing of this episode back in episode 11, it appears that both Komasan and Komajiro's deaths were caused by Mitsue, albeit accidentally and unknowingly.
- This is Whisper's third absence in the Shadowside series.
- It is revealed that Komasan was the one to give Komajiro his Yo-kai name upon his burial.
