The Calling (Japanese: スピリットの真実,Supiritto no Shinjitsu) is the 48th episode of the Yo-kai Watch Shadowside anime. It was broadcasted in Japan on March 22, 2019.
Summer has been taken and consumed by Overseer. Cole and Bruno want to save Summer, but Overseer transforms in an eerie fashion. By absorbing Summer, Overseer changes into his true form, which can’t be attacked recklessly. Meanwhile, Tate can’t help but cry, knowing Summer has been consumed by Overseer. At that point Junior reminds Tate that Summer has always cared about and protected him. Hearing those words, Tate decides to fight. “Now it’s my turn to protect my big sister.”
