Samureel (Japanese: ひつま武士 Hitsuma-bushi) is a Rank D Water-attribute Local Yo-kai of the Brave tribe.

Samureel evolves into Time Keeler when fused with a Gold Emblem.

Biology

Samureel is an anthropomorphic gray colored eel Yo-kai with yellow eyes, he wears a red and golden samurai armor and white gloves, he's always seen carrying a bowl of white rice.

Etymology

Name Origin

"Hitsumabushi" is a pun on hitsumabushi (Japanese: 櫃まぶし/ひつまぶし), a particular way of serving grilled eel and rice, and bushi (Japanese: 武士 "warrior, samurai").

"Samureel" is a pun on samurai and eel.

"Anguirai" is a pun on anguilla (eel) and samurai.

"Samuraal" is essentially a direct translation of the English name.
