Sandi is a recolor of Insomni. She is a white-skinned Yo-kai with a single turquoise eye accented by pale pink eye shadow and a dark indigo stripe with a yellow iris. She has long, dark pink hair worn in two large horns on top of her head, held by a black ribbon. Sandi wears a dark purple dress with pale pink and blue material wrapping around her torso. There is a pale, pink flame at the end of her tail.
Those Inspirited by Sandi will be pulled into a dream where that person will play with Sandi in their dreams for a long amount of time. Sandi's Inspirit has been known to last as long as six months.
Sandi is exclusive to Red Cat Corps. She has a chance to drop following an Ultra Robonyan 28 boss fight. She can also be found on Patrol Missions on VIP patrol and rarely in Shopper's Row.
In the Japanese version, she can be also freed using a Five-Star Coin, Excitement Coin, Punipuni Cafe Coin, or Enma Coin. She could also be freed with a Valentine Coin in the western version.
Exhausts the enemy, preventing them from attacking.

Strangely, in Yo-kai Watch 3, the element Sandi is resistant to changed from Lightning to Wind. It is unknown why this change was made.
Sandi's English name is a reference to the Sandman, a mythical character originating in Germanic and Scandinavian folklore who puts people to sleep and encourages and inspires beautiful dreams by sprinkling magical sand onto their eyes.
