Sawayama Castle is a castle from the feudal era, that exists in front of Sawayama Castle Town.
This area can only be accessed in Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters.
Overview[]
This castle is home to Shogun Waitington. It's a large castle with some outer areas that contain some treasure boxes. There is also a dining room that the player can go inside. Many soldiers guard the castle walls and entrance. Shogun Waitington is the master of this castle as of that current timeline.

In the games[]
This area is exclusive to Psychic Specters. The village is visited during Whistory Lesson, Part 2 and Whistory Lesson, Part 3, as Whispocrates and Rudy. It can be visited by the player during the Tamer of Time quest.
As well, the player will find Darkyubi outside the castle next to a small tree, but only if you have completed the Tamer of Time request.
The area also plays a role during the Legendary Legacy quest.

- Sawayama Castle was a real-life castle in the Ōmi Province, Japan. It was held by the Azai Clan during the Sengoku period. It was attacked shortly after the Battle of Sekigahara, and later destroyed.
- It's unknown what happens to the castle after the events of the second game, but as described earlier, it probably got destroyed, according to the real-life historical events.
