Secret Byway (Japanese: ひみつの抜け道 Himitsu no nukemichi) is an area with wild Yo-kai located behind the Byrd House in Blossom Heights. It links the Byrd House garden to Shoten Temple.
Overview[]
Secret Byway is an area in the forest featuring two houses and a vegetable patch.
In the games[]
Initially, in all games, the player can only access this area from Shoten Temple. Once traversing it and exiting in the Byrd House garden, the player can unlock the house gate from the other side and enter from both sides at any time.
Yo-kai Watch[]
In Yo-kai Watch, up to four Yo-kai can appear in this area. One in the western grassy area, two in the vegetable patch and one in the eastern grassy area. A yellow chest is located in the east hidden behind the stairs. An item can be collected from the vegetable patch.
Yo-kai Watch 2[]
In Yo-kai Watch 2, there are two yellow chests in the area, one in the central-southern dead end and one just above south of the staircase. Two items spots are on the vegetable patch in the west. The western area leading to the Byrd House garden is locked behind a Rank C Watch Lock.
Yo-kai Watch 3[]
In Yo-kai Watch 3, up to four Yo-kai can appear in this area. One in the western grassy area, one in the vegetable patch, one on the roof of the northern house and one in the eastern grassy area. The Yo-kai on the roof will jump down when the player walks past the house and will chase them no matter their level. A yellow chest is located in the east hidden behind the stairs. A purple chest is located east of the western stairs, west of the vegetable patch and north of the southern house in a small alley. There are no spots the player can investigate in this area. however an item can be collected from the vegetable patch.
