Shady Back Alley (Japanese: 怪しい路地裏 Ayashī rodjiura) is an area located behind the Fish Place in Uptown Springdale. It is connected to the Lonely Waterway and Springdale Underground Waterway.
Overview[]
Shady Back Alley is a winding back alley behind the Fish Place. It features the back of houses, a manhole leading to the Underground Waterway and steps leading to the Lonely Waterway.

Yo-kai Watch[]
In Yo-kai Watch, a gold chest is located west of the manhole with a purple chest on the far west. The entrance to the Lonely Waterway is locked behind a Rank C Watch Lock.
Yo-kai Watch 2[]
In Yo-kai Watch 2, a yellow chest is location at the middle of the staircase leading to the Lonely Waterway with a purple chest at the end of the extrusion in the south-west. The entrance to the Lonely Waterway is initially locked behind a Rank C Watch Lock.
Yo-kai Watch 3[]
In Yo-kai Watch 3, two wild Yo-kai appear here. One above the manhole and one on top of a roof below the stairs to the Lonely Waterway. This Yo-kai will jump down when the player walks towards the stairs and will chase them no matter their level. A gold chest is location north-west, slightly below the stairs, and purple chests are situated in the far south-east and another east of the stairs. The player can investigate a set of trash east of the manhole, west and north of the western chest and right below where the Yo-kai jumps off the roof. A Yo-kai spot can be found at a trash can west of the manhole.
The sewers from this area feature a worker who can't decide if cats or mice are cuter, three cats, a yellow chest and a spot by the water the player can investigate.
Yo-kai Watch 4[]
In Yo-kai Watch 4, the Shady Back Alley isn't considered it's own area, but rather as a part of Uptown Springdale. It features a Yo-kai Door in the area.
