Shinobu Kageno (Japanese: 影野 シノブ Kageno Shinobu) is one of the secondary characters that appears in the Y School Heroes series. He is a member of the student Disciplinary Committee and he is the leader of the Camping Club of Y-Academy and was one of Nayu Kuruhoshi's minions, now he's one of Elna Amami's minions.

Physical Traits[]
Shinobu Kageno is a fair-skinned human boy with brown hair and eyes, as well as an ahoge. He wears the standard male uniform for Y-Academy, consisting of a dark blue jacket with green pockets, blue pants, and brown loafers. On his left arm he wears a black armband with 3 thin white stripes, showing that he is a part of the Disciplinary Committee.
Shinobu is loyal to the chairman of the Disciplinary Committee no matter who they are. He maintains a jovial appearance with others when it comes to his club, but is actually serious about doing his orders as asked.

Shinobu Kageno first makes a cameo appearance in YG016. He reappears in YG023 and was told to spy on the YSP Club and Ranto Kirigakure, using his phone as a camera so Nayu could see what was going on with her tablet.
In YG048, following the death of Elzemekia, he was made Vice-Chair of the Disciplinary Committee under Nayu.

Etymology[]
His surname "Kageno" literally translates to "Shadow field" and his given name "Shinobu" written in hiragana translates to "Shinobi," or "Ninja," which his bio states that he "scouts and acts like a ninja".
