Singcada is similar to Cadable, with the difference that his face is a lime green color and his outfit is burgundy, with red wrist and shin guards and green pants, and the tuft on his helmet is white.
Singcada can be befriended automatically by completing the King of Cicadasquest on the stairs up to Mt. Wildwood. Evening Cicadas can be found on trees in Breezy Hills at day. Then sleep seven times in-game to pass the week. Singcada can then be found with the Yo-kai Watch and will offer to be your friend without battling.
Singcada can be found rarely in the binoculars at Mt. Wildwood Summit, and commonly in Harrisville, and can be found in the second part of the Sushi Sukiyaki Course as an ally within the Ambrosia Pavilion.
He can also be found in Blasters T in Sky Garden - Meopatra.

"Higurashimaru" adds the old-fashioned -maru suffix typical of boy names to higurashi (Evening cicada).

"Singzikado" is a combination of "singen" (to sing) and "Zikade" (cicada).
"Cicacnto" is a combination of "cicala" (cicada) and "canto" (sing).
Origin[]
Singcada has similar origins to Cadin, but its Japanese name instead refers to the higurashi (the Tanna Japonensis, also called "evening cicada"). Unlike its cousins, who are most active during summer, its song is heard the most in autumn and late summer, especially when the sun has set or clouds darken the sky. Its melancholic "kana kana" cry fueled the inspiration of writers and poets, and it's a recurring sound in the visual novel series Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.
