Skranny appears in the Yo-kai Spot The Hungry Jizo as a statue in Harrisville behind the school, southwest to the waterfall, or the pathway behind the building west of the school, and Mt. Wildwood just before the entrance to the trail and just before passing the bridge that leads into the tunnel.
Skranny can be found under cars and vending machines in Uptown Springdale. Additionally, she can be found in the Lonely Waterway (behind the fish shop).

"Skranny" is a portmanteau of the words skeleton or skeletal, and granny, a term of endearment for someone's grandmother.
"Dokurobā" is a combination of (Japanese: 髑髏,Dokuro, "skull"), referring to her skeletal visage, and (Japanese: 婆,Bā, "grandma"). It's also a variation of "Bakurobā."
"Esquelleja" combines "Esqueleto" (Skeleton) and "Cotilleja" (Tattletell).
"Omakabra" combines "Oma" (grandma), "makaber" (macabre), potentially also "makaberer" (more macabre, as in a more macabre grandma), or "makabra" (Polish for "scary").
