Origin [ ]
Slumberhog's Japanese name comes from the Aomori Nebuta Matsuri , a festival held every year in the Aomori prefecture during the first week of August. The centerpiece of the celebrations is the carrying of an illuminated float portraying a brave warrior, while costumed dancers dance and chant around it. Its evolution Snortlehog closely resembles the warrior's appearance, if in pig form.
