A Soul Doughnut (Japanese: 本家まんじゅう Honke Manjū) is a Sweets Food item that first appeared in Yo-kai Watch 2.
In Yo-kai Watch Blasters and Yo-kai Sangokushi, it is a Key Item instead and can be obtained by using save data from Fleshy Souls to battle Komasan S and Komasan S Son Saku, respectively.
Overview[]
It is a round light-brown doughnut with cream filling on the inside and poured with chocolate sauce on top with an insignia that is shaped like an upside-down hitodama flame. In the original Japanese version, it is actually a manjū with black-bean filling while the symbol at the top is a singular kanji symbol that is short for "Honke" (本) which is the Japanese name for the Fleshy Souls. In the games, it has become the preferred food of Toadal Dude and the Fleshy Souls after it broke out an argument with Arachnus of the Bony Spirits over which filling is better.

In real life[]
The Yoroz Mart store in Japan once sold Honke Manjū as edible snacks that had black bean filling for a few years before they were sold out and discontinued in mid-2017. There were nine miniature pieces per box. In 2017, a special "New Year's" edition of the food was produced which had both red and white dough in different sections of the box.
