A Spirit Doughnut (Japanese: 元祖まんじゅう Ganso Manjū) is a Sweets Food item that first appeared in Yo-kai Watch 2.
In Yo-kai Watch Blasters and Yo-kai Sangokushi, it is a Key Item instead and can be obtained by using save data from Bony Spirits to battle Jibanyan S and Jibanyan S Ryubi respectively.
Overview[]
It is a round doughnut with custard filling on the inside and poured with chocolate sauce on top with a insignia that is shaped like a hitodama flame. In the original Japanese version, it is actually a manjū with red-bean filling while the symbol at the top is a singular kanji symbol that is short for "Ganso" (元), which is the Japanese name of the Bony Spirits.
In the games, it has become the preferred food of Arachnus and the Bony Spirits after it broke out an argument with Toadal Dude of the Fleshy Souls over which filling is better.

In real life[]
The Yoroz Mart store in Japan once sold Ganso Manjū as edible snacks that had red bean filling for a few years before they were sold out and discontinued in mid-2017. There were nine miniature pieces per box. In 2017, a special "New Year's" edition of the food which had both red and white pasty in different sections of the box.
