—Super Sly, Yo-kai Watch Shadowside episode 14

Super Sly (Japanese: ハイパーミッチー Haipā Micchī), also known as Mitsumata Ghidorah (Japanese: ミツマタギドラ Mitsumata Gidora), is a Shadowside Yo-kai of the Uwanosora tribe.

In Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble, his Lightside form is a Rank S Yo-kai of the Shady tribe.

Biology[]

In his Lightside form, Super Sly, he greatly resembles the base Sly, except for a yellow ring around his pupil, and a different outfit.

He now wears a red cape with a large collar, the heads on his shoulders have their eyes out instead of tongues, and he now has larger studs on his gloves and boots.

The overall color scheme of the suit is also slightly different, and he now has the ability to fly, as well as being a lot stronger.

His Shadowside form, Mitsumata Ghidorah, also looks a lot like Slimamander with different colors, but he also has two larger fangs in each mouth, and a pair of antennae-like protrusions on each head.

Super Sly is obtained when equipping the Hyper Suit to Sly. The Hyper Suit is obtained by collecting 100 Micchy Marks.

Etymology[]

"Hyper Micchy" is derived from adding "Hyper" to "Micchy," which in turn is a nickname derived from Mitsumata Nozuchi (see Slimamander#Etymology).

"Mitsumata Ghidorah" is derived from Mitsumata Nozuchi and King Ghidorah.

"Super Sly" is derived from adding "Super" to "Sly," possibly referring to him as a superhero that he believes to be.

Quotes[]

  • Materialization! Super Sly! (Japanese: 超天!ハイパーミッチー! Chōten! Haipā Mitchī!)

In the anime[]

Super Sly is a stronger form of Sly that he is first shown using in SS014, but it has a time limit, and he quickly is defeated when it wears off, which is normally because he wastes his time explaining it. His Shadowside form does not make an appearance in the anime.

It's stated that he gained this new form after nearly being killed in his fight with Suzaku in SS013. He attempts to use it to combat the berserk Shinmagunshin Fukurou. He manages to land one blow, but he wasted so much time explaining the transformation, that he soon reverts to his previous form, allowing Shinmagunshin Fukurou to slap him over the horizon.

Trivia[]

  • He is the only Yo-kai with a confirmed Shadowside form to not use it in the anime.
