Profile[]
Yo-kai Watch Blasters[]
In Yo-kai Watch Blasters: Red Cat Corps, Swirlious Omai can be challenged after the player places 1,000 insignias on the statue of Red Paws in the YBA Hall. In order to fight him in Big Boss mode, the player must fight with 2+ White Dog Squad players and computer controlled Yo-kai don't count.
Alternatively, the player can challenge Swirlious Omai in the VIP Room in Yo-kai Watch Blasters: Moon Rabbit Crew.
The player fights Swirlious Omai on a tiled arena. When Swirlious Omai uses Spirit Crusher, the tiles change color and any white tiles will explode, doing damage to players. It is advised players always stay on red tiles during his battle.
Attacks
Blessed Bite - Bites a Yo-kai in front of him.
Sacred Slash - Raises a paw and smashes it on the ground. This changes the color of the floor’s tiles to the opposite color and causes all white tiles to explode.
Spirit Crusher - Attempts to jump on top of a Yo-kai. This changes the color of the floor’s tiles to the opposite color and causes all white tiles to explode.
Godly Glacier - Unleashes ice attacks in random places.
Holy Howl - Stuns any Yo-kai near him for a short while. If the player runs into his area of effect even after he's started, they will still be stunned
Omai Cannon (Soultimate) - Fires a large beam that he rotates to try and hit multiple Yo-kai. It only fires in front of Swirlious Omai in an arc so staying behind him is key

Etymology[]
- "Shirokoma" translates to 'White Ancient Demon' it's a combination os 'Shiro' (white) and 'Komainu'
- "Swirlious Omai" is derived from Komasan's catchphrase in the localization, "Oh my swirls!" The "Omai" part of the name is likely spelled this way to reference how komainu is spelled using the "omai" part in the name.
- "Vueltomai" derives from Komasan's catchphrase "Todo me da vueltas" and "Omai" its taken from Komainu.
Origin[]
Swirlious Omai strongly resembles a Komainu, a statue that is said to guard shrines by warding off bad spirits. They always come in pairs. Swirlious Omai matches the image of a male Komainu statue which distinctively has an open mouth, a raised left paw and a ball under their paw.
Trivia[]
- Swirlious Omai shares visual similarities to Komasan (Shadowside)'s Shadowside form since they both take appearances from very traditional Komainu statues
