Go to Southmond Elementary School and enter the East Building. Examine the purple book about T. Energison, located in the top-right room of the library on the right-hand section of the bookshelf.
Read the book once a day for five real-world days in a row. Note: Only one chapter can be read a day, including chapters from other purple books.
After the fifth day, T. Energison will now appear in the Lab at Yopple HQ and can be challenged daily.
T. Energison requires using the Energison Biography, which is a very rare item obtainable in the Lucky/Oni Crank in certain events.
Using the item transports you to a special area where you can battle T. Energison but doing so will consume the Biography, meaning if the player fails to befriend him while battling him, they will need to pull another Biography from the Crank-a-kai.
Makes Ice Element critical attacks likelier for allies.

In the anime[]
Etymology[]
"Edison" is derived from "Thomas Edison."
"T. Energison" is a play on "Thomas Edison" and "energy."
Origin[]
T. Energison is based on and named after Thomas Alva Edison, the man who patented the first commercially successful incandescent light-bulb. The phonograph, the lower half of his Yo-kai's body, is one of Edison's inventions.
Trivia[]
When he is first summoned, a helper appears next to him, appearing to give rope to his phonograph.
Curiously, he doesn't reappear any time more, not even when T. Energison's summon ends.
T. Energison is the first Legendary Pioneer Yo-kai to have a localized name, the second being Columbakat.
This is the only Legendary Pioneer (as Great Legendary) to have a localized name in Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble.
T. Energison's Skill was mistranslated in the localization. It actually boosts the rates of allies' Lightning Element critical attacks.
At the end of his biography, he is implied to be making a Yo-kai Watch, but passed on before he could be finished.
