Female?[]
I understand that the voice should be no indication, plus it's different in Japanese anyway, but has it really been confirmed that Goldenyan is female in the Japanese version? In Puni Puni, from what I can tell, Goldenyan does not get a bonus from the U2 Watch, which boosts female Yo-kai. Now of course, Puni Puni isnt always consistent with other media, like changing the tribes of Black Jibanyan and Komasan, but still, does anyone have a source for the claim that Goldenyan is intended to be female in Japanese? The high-pitched voice in the Japanese version is not proof, there are plently of confirmed male characters voiced by women. Kaialone (talk) 10:21, September 24, 2017 (UTC)

A masculine voice does not confirm a character male. Female characters can be voiced by males. Plus the voice is feminine in Japanese. Just like Arachnia, this page shouldn't be in a gender category. Arachnia isn't the only yo-kai in neither the male characters category nor the female characters category.
