Tanbo (Japanese : さきがけの助 , Sakigakenosuke ) is a Rank B , Earth -attribute Rare Yo-kai of the Brave tribe introduced in Yo-kai Watch .
In Yo-kai Watch Blasters , he is one of the Yo-kai required to unlock Dandoodle .

Tanbo has tan coloured skin and black eyes. His facial markings are yellow while his stomach is pale yellow. His feet and wristbands are dark brown. His loincloth/apron is white and his hair is red. He's the recolor of Undy .
Those inspirited by Tanbo become gutsy and take action without thinking.
Profile [ ]
Tanbo rarely appears during the day, under vending machines, cars and in trash cans near Sunshine Station in Blossom Heights .
Tanbo can be rarely found on the 3rd floor of Springdale Elementary School at night (check the Library or the Music room).
He can also be freed from the Crank-a-kai with a Red Coin in the past as well as through an Expert Room in a Gate of Whimsy. Alternatively, he can also be freed from the Crank-a-kai inside Mystery Way - End Point (Bony Spirits Way) with a Boar Mystery Coin .
Tanbo has two equipment slots in this game.
Tanbo can be found in the Alley off the Plaza in Harrisville Station with the B-Rank Watch. He can also be found in a Yo-kai spot in Nocturne Hospital .
He can also be found in Blasters T in the Tomb of King Clupharaon ⑤ on floor 35 onwards and the Pyramid of Clu ⑥.
Tanbo can be found on Patrol Missions in Shopper's Row and Uptown Springdale . Alternatively, he can rarely be befriended as a reward for clearing the Red Light Blasters mission in Chapter 10.
He is required for the Seven Samukai Yo-kai Circle .
Tanbo can be found in Secret Stage 3-8 in Sewer C and can be freed from the Crank-a-kai with a Great Red Coin .

Etymology [ ]
"Sakigakenosuke" combines sakigake (魁, "charging ahead") and suke (助, common ending for male names).
"Tanbo" comes from "tan ", and is possibly a corruption of "tan boy ."
"Mambo" possibly comes from "abbronzatura" (tan).
