The Ironworks' Part

The Ironworks' Part is a Key Quest that is part of the story of Yo-kai Watch 2. The quest is started automatically when arriving on train in Old Springdale. It is recommended to be completed around Level 15.

Quest[]

The quest is automatically accepted as part of the story. As the protagonist approaches the ironworks, they overhear workers discussing slacking off. Whisper suggests they investigate. They approach Nick Nack outside the Ironworks, the owner of the Memory Store. He suggests they check inside the Ironworks for Yo-kai causing trouble. Nick Nack hands over a Mysterious Marble, saying it reveals things otherwise invisible to the naked eye.

The protagonist heads inside but is shocked by the amount of smoke. The protagonist hears a Yo-kai and tries to use their watch but sees no one. Whisper is surprised, saying there is a Yo-kai right there. He suggests they use the marble Nick Nack gave them. They hold it out and Badsmella appears. She tells them she wants to make more smoke to control more humans and disappears. After finding Badsmella about the room, the protagonist corners her and fights. The protagonist defeats her and the smoke disappears, the Wicked Yo-kai separated from Smogmella. Then, Toadal Dude/Arachnus appears, finishing the Wicked Yo-kai off. Smogmella apologises for the mess she caused and bids farewell. The group are relieved they were given the marble as it came in handy and wonder if it was used for the Yo-kai Watch. Hovernyan agrees, saying it must have been what their grandfather was looking for.

Quest description[]

Pre-quest[]

Nathaniel/Kenny's almost finished work on the Yo-kai Watch prototype, which can take on Wicked Yo-kai. He left a list of the last parts he needs. One of them seems to be in Springdale Ironworks.

During quest[]

I ran into Nick Nack, who told me that a Yo-kai is causing the workers to act weird. He then gave me a Mysterious Marble, saying I'd find it useful inside the ironworks...

Quest complete[]

Smogmella had been Inspirited by a Wicked Yo-kai! She's OK now, though, and was taken home by her general. It seems the Mysterious Marble we used is what the Yo-kai Lens is based on.

Guidance[]

Approach the Ironworks which is south of the train station. Head east before the gate that needs to be opened that leads to the construction site.
Talk to Nick Nack outside the Ironworks who is marked by a blue quest marker.
Head inside the Ironworks just north of Nick Nack.
Approach the moving machine to the north-east.
In the eastern room, interact with the warping sign in the centre.
In the western room, interact with the grey Jizo statue in the far north-west.
In the centre room, interact with the mannequin in the central-north.
