The Old Fox Shrine is the 90th Quest in Yo-kai Watch 2. The quest can be started by talking to a girl inside the Springdale Elementary School science lab while playing the Fleshy Souls copy of the game. The quest is unlocked at Watch Rank S and is recommended to be completed at level 65.
Quest Plot[]
The player speaks to a girl in the science lab, who is part of a fan club that worships Mr. Barton - the science teacher - and asks the player to help investigate Mr. Barton and his hobbies. By talking to several students around the school, it is revealed that he takes an interest to the history of Springdale, especially an area known as the Fox Shrine Road, which can be found in Old Springdale. By travelling back in time to Galleria Blvd. in Old Springdale, the player obtains more information on the Fox Shrine, learning about it's importance. By talking to Mr. Barton in the present day, he hints that Mr. Fox sometimes shows up on the Elementary roof at night. By going to the rooftop at night, it is revealed that Mr. Fox was actually Kyubi the entire time, who battles the player, completing the quest shortly afterwards. Kyubi can then be battled once per day and befriended via cutscene.
Quest Rewards[]
By completing the quest, the player is granted 5500 Experience Points, along with a Fiend Ring. If lucky, the player may also obtain bonus rewards from the cutscene that plays after completing a quest.
Trivia & Tips[]
- Kyubi is a S Rank, meaning that he will be hard to befriend. Bring strong Yo-kai if you are to challenge him.
