The Shrine's Part is a Key Quest that is part of the story of Yo-kai Watch 2. The quest is started automatically when arriving on train in Old Springdale and is recommended to be completed around Level 14.
Quest[]
The quest is automatically accepted as part of the story. The protagonist heads to Mount Wildwood but can't find anything. Whisper suggests they search for a Yo-kai nearby as he can sense them. They find Komajiro and ask if he's seen their grandfather and he thinks he was mentioned in a letter his brother Komasan sent him. Komajiro realises he can't find the letter and realises he must've left it in Galleria Boulevard. Komajiro asks the protagonist to retrieve the letter for him.
The protagonist returns the letter and Komajiro is thankful. Komajiro explains that Komasan was helped by the protagonist's grandfather during his trip and gave him a Swirly Bell that rings when Yo-kai are close by. Komajiro hands over his own in thanks
Quest description[]
Pre-quest[]
- Nathaniel/Kenny's almost finished work on the Yo-kai Watch prototype, which can take on Wicked Yo-kai. He left a list of the last parts he needs. One of them seems to be in Mt. Wildwood Shrine.
During quest[]
- We searched Mt. Wildwood Shrine for a Yo-kai Watch part but can't find anything suitable. However, Whisper senses a Yo-kai nearby. Let's search around the shrine with the Yo-kai Lens.
- At Mt. Wildwood Shrine, we met a Yo-kai called Komajiro. His brother Komasan's letter mention Nathaniel/Kenny, but he seems to have lost the letter near the Fox Shrine on Galleria Blvd.
- I found Komasan's letter at the Fox Shrine! I should take it to Komajiro, who's waiting for me at Mt. Wildwood Shrine.
Quest complete[]
- According to Komasan's letter, he promised to give Nathaniel/Kenny a bell. Now we've been lucky enough to get our hands on a Swirly Bell that rings when there are Yo-kai nearby!
Guidance[]
- Go to Mount Wildwood Shrine.
- Search with the Yo-kai Lens south-east of the right frog statue.
- Talk to Komajiro.
- Go the Galleria Boulevard - where Shopper's Row/Springdale Flower Road is located in present time. Enter the alleyway closest to the southern entrance.
- Interact with the shrine in the east.
- Return to Komajiro in the shrine.
