“The Y Files: The Final Chapter” is a request in Yo-kai Watch 3. The quest giver is Blunder, and to activate/accept his quest you have to meet him and Folly at Triangle Park.

Plot[]
Before the Quest[]
Inside the Adams house in Springdale, Nate and Whisper were heading downstairs and see FBY agents Blunder and Folly near the front door. The two claim that they want to talk to Nate and if he was free to do so that he should meet them at Triangle Park. After they exit the house and leave, Nate wonders what they want from him and Whisper asks if they should go and Nate says yes.
At Triangle Park/Let the request Begin![]
When Nate and Whisper arrive at Triangle Park, Blunder and Folly reveal that thanks to the incident in New Yo-kai City, the two can now see Yo-kai and are able to see Whisper and the Yo-kai around them. With the two now having this new ability, they were treated with suspicion and thought to be crazy by the other agents. Since Nate also has this ability due to the Yo-kai Watch and thus is the only one who’ll believe them, they came to ask him and Whisper for their help with an investigation. Nate and Whisper agree to help and asks what the two agents were investigating, Blunder then tells them they were investigating the Ghoulfather and his secret and that he and Folly have found out that the leaders of the Ghoulfamily are still active. He then says that they have gained four key pieces of key information which will lead them to the locations of the Ghoulfamily’s leaders, however he a Folly state that they can’t find where the leaders are hiding by themselves, which is why they requested Nate and Whisper’s help in the first place. According to Blunder the Key pieces of info are: “The Daydream Creator has returned to his own world.” “The Bad Teacher holds night classes at the Elementary School.” “A Legendary Drummer has become a top class Yo-kai in a certain mansion.” and “A Jet Black Robot is back at his former company.
Finding the leaders[]
Interrogation with The “Daydream Creator”[]
After Deciphering one of the key pieces of info the group headed over to Sparkopolis, however their intended destination isn’t the city itself but rather it’s illusionary daydream counterpart, once arrived at the Illusionary Sparkopolis, the four then set out to find it’s creator and one the leaders of the Ghoulfamily: “Hoaxy-Coaxy”. Upon finding him in the Next HarMEOWny Theater’s stage room they begin to interrogate Hoaxy to find more information about the Ghoulfamily. While speaking to him the group find out that Hoaxy was the newbie of the family, and that he was worked to the bone by them. He also didn’t get along with Rongo Swirll as he always kept wanting him to make him his own Daydream Domain, this infuriated Hoaxy as he doesn’t like making the domains on request and much prefers to peek into people’s minds and feats upon what he finds within them instead. During his interrogation he also states that he would very much like to have a look at Nate’s daydreams as well and Nate replies that he’ll think about it. Upon receiving all this information the group thank Hoaxy for his time and he replies that he will wait for the time they will meet again. With Hoaxy-Coaxy now interrogated, the four then continue their investigation on the Ghoulfamily and Ghoulfather’s secret.
Interrogation with The “Bad Teacher”[]
After Deciphering one of the key pieces of info the group headed over to Springdale Elementary (at night) and head into the school’s music room to find the Ghoulfamily leader: “Slackerjack”. Upon entering the room they see that Slackerjack is teaching five Yo-kai students, and upon speaking to him he asks if the four of them have come to take his classes. Blunder then says that they have not come to take part in Slacker’s class but have to come to him to ask him about the Ghoulfamily. While Slackerjack is informing them all he knows about the family, the group learn that he and Hoaxy were actually called into existence by the Ghoulfather, and that the Ghoulfather never really talked about himself, however he guesses that he and Hoaxy are products of the Ghoulfather’s “child spirit” and “adult spirit”, as for what he knows about the other members of the family, he claims that Rongo Swrill is impish but spirited, Agent X was ill-tempered but kept a watchful eye on them, and that No-bot is foul-mouthed but always helpful. Focusing more on all the good traits each member had/has Slacker concludes that everyone in the family is a “good boy” as he claims that he, as teacher knows no being who isn’t good. Upon hearing this Nate then joyfully comments that maybe the Ghoulfather himself may not have been completely evil, and Slackerjack praises him for saying that and says Nate gets an A+ as a reward. With Slacker’s interrogation over, the four then continue their investigation on the Ghoulfamily and Ghoulfather’s secret.
Interrogation with A “Legendary Drummer”[]
After Deciphering one of the key pieces of info the group headed over to Hazeltine Mansion (Buck and Dorothy’s mansion home) to find the Ghoulfamily leader: “Rongo Swrill”. The four were able to find Rongo in mansion’s left Dining Room along side Verygoodsir and upon approaching him they begin his interrogation. When Folly asks if Rongo is indeed the Ghoulfamily’s “Legendary Drummer”, he delightfully confirms it and decided to start calling himself that. When Folly then asks if Rongo can give them information on the Ghoulfamily, he informs them that all he did was just play his drums and not worrying about anything else. The only member Rongo really knows is his “best friend” Agent X (whom he calls John). Folly then comments that the two are quite the “nightmarish duo” and then asks Rongo on why he joined the Ghoulfamily in the first place. Rongo then replies that he joined the family because the Ghoulfather inspired him about achieving your dreams together and joined in without a second thought, he also replies that his dreams is to show Yo-kai everywhere the magic of the drums, however he also says that Agent X didn’t really have a dream of his own and probably never has one to begin with, but he did listen to the Ghoulfather talk about his dream and soon gained his boss’ dream as well, and was determined to help him achieve it any way he could. Rongo then adds that every member is grateful to the Ghoulfather as he showed them all the value of dreams, and that life without one is like drumming without a beat. Whisper then comments that even the Ghoulfamily has it’s tender moments and even starts crying and Rongo interrogation came to an end. With his interrogation over, the four then continue their investigation on the Ghoulfamily and Ghoulfather’s secret.
Interrogation with A “Jet Black Robot”[]
After Deciphering one of the key pieces of info the group headed over to the Yopple HQ and head into the Assembly Line room, where they were able to locate the Ghoulfamily leader: “No-Bot”. Upon speaking to him and asking him why he joined the Ghoulfamily, No-Bot then tells them that the Yopple company shut him down and stored him in a pitch black room in the HQ, however the Ghoulfamily appeared and somehow found him and took him with them. He was taken to Bada-Bing Tower where he was welcomed, fixed and remodeled him and has been with them ever since, however with the Agent X and the Ghoulfather’s defeat No-Bot decided to start working at the Yopple HQ’s assembly line as the family most likely disbanded due to their boss and his right-hand Yo-kai being taken down. However he didn’t like his new position at the Yopple HQ as the sight of everyone’s smiling faces greatly irritated him, but does wish that he himself had a smiling as well as no one will talk to him with his current appearance and that even the pony from Bada-Bing tower ran away from him as well, so he’s decided that he would get surgery so can smile like everyone else, however Steve Jaws told him that a cosmetic surgery like that would cost B1000 and since he only makes B1 a day, he would have to work for 1000 days to finally achieve his dream of having a smile on his face, and maybe having the pony that ran away from come back and let him ride it. Nate then wishes him Good Luck as he pities No-Bot’s unfortunate situation. No-Bot also says that he has been practicing his jokes as well and asks if any of them would like to hear one, however they all declined and thank No-Bot for talking with them. Upon hearing that they’re all leaving No-Bot then says “What the… ? You’re leaving already? It’s not like I’m lonely or anything. Because I am a robot you see. :|” and then sadly adds that he will see them around. With No-Bot’s interrogation over, the four then continue their investigation on the Ghoulfamily and Ghoulfather’s secret.
After the Interrogations[]
With all four leaders now interrogated the group has now come to a better understanding of the Ghoulfamily, however they still didn’t have much information about the Ghoulfather himself thus their investigation still goes on. Blunder then says that perhaps the Ghoulfather’s closer associate, Agent X might know something to about his secrets and Nate adds that he’s known the Ghoulfather for over 555 years and guesses that he was the one the Ghoulfather talked to the most, so the group set out to visit the site of their last encounter with Agent X, The Ghoulfather’s Office at the 555 floor/top of Bada-Bing Tower.
At The Ghoulfather’s Office[]
Upon Arrival[]
When the group had reached The Ghoulfather’s Office, they begin the see if they find any hints about the Ghoulfather’s secret, however after examining and looking around the room they no clues at all, with this Blunder says that since there were no clues in the room and the other leaders of the Ghoulfamily were in the dark about the Ghoulfather’s secret the only one would have information on it was his right-hand Yo-kai Agent X, however since Nate, Hailey Anne and Buck defeat him and the Ghoulfather there was no else to talk to and no one left to tell the tale. Folly then wonder if the room itself could give them information but Blunder replies that even though walls have ears, they had no mouths to share their info, however Nate adds that anything is possible with the power of Yo-kai and Whisper begins to look up a Yo-kai in his Yo-kai Pad to aid their situation. Within seconds Whisper has found a Yo-kai who can assist them, the Yo-kai Vacuumory, he says they can befriend him by befriending Flushback and evolve him via fusion with an item, and with Vacuumory’s help they’ll be able to see the memories the room holds.
Summoning Vacuumory[]
Nate has now successfully befriended Vacuumory and summons him to help recall the past events that took place in The Ghoulfather’s Office, thanks to his power the group was able to see a memory of Ghoulfather having a conversation with Agent X. During their conversation it was revealed that the Ghoulfather was once human before he became a Yo-kai and when he was child he had the see Yo-kai as well. However whenever he tried talking to people about it no one believed him and called him creepy, and soon after his family abandoned him. With no home, family or friends he roamed endlessly until he lost the last of strength and died and became a Yo-kai upon passing. Once becoming the bizarre being he was able to see as a human he thought he’d finally be accepted in the world of Yo-kai, however to his disappointment he once again rejected by the Yo-kai around him, as he caught sightings of UFOs and no one believed him when he tried to tell them about it. Agent X then replies that the humans and Yo-kai who didn’t believe him were all wrong as his as his sightings UFOs turned out to be right. However despite his unfortunate past the Ghoulfather says that so far his life hasn’t been all bad, since he was to form a new family with Agent X and the Ghoulfamily leaders. He also aks Agent X if knows about the “Legendary Continent” which he replies that he doesn’t. The Ghoulfather then tells Agent X that there is a Continent that exists between the Yo-kai and Human realms and hidden away within the continent is a golden treasure. He then asks if Agent X believes that to be true and Agent X says he believes the continent exists and that he believes the golden treasure is within it, and then asks his boss if he also believes in the continent and it’s treasure, and the Ghoulfather replies that he does, but he adds that even though they believe it exists there are many humans and Yo-kai who don’t and claims that they have no dreams. He also adds that the Human and Yo-kai worlds have no dreams a world without dreams is boring not worth living in, so he formed the Ghoulfamily, the ultimate family of dreamers so that together they’ll remake the Yo-kai World and find the legendary continent. Agent X then replies to Ghoulfather that if anyone’s going to find it it’ll him, and tells the Ghoulfather he’ll help him find it till the very end as a thanks for saving him. The Ghoulfather then says that he knows he’ll find it and that he’s counting on it and the memory ends there. After witnessing the Memory, Nate comments that before becoming a Yo-kai the Ghoulfather was just a curios and living kid and Blunder adds that perhaps if he’d been in another time he could’ve befriended fellow dreamers and Nate says that would’ve been good. Blunder also recalls the Ghoulfather mentioning a legendary continent and figures out that he must’ve been talking about the Cluvian Continent and adds that Nate and Whisper probably know it already, Nate confirms it and Blunder asks if he and Whisper could take him and Folly there. Whisper then says since the two agents can see Yo-kai, it may be possible for them to go there, Nate agrees and says that he and Whisper will take them to the Cluvian Continent and Blunder thanks them. Now the group set off to go to the adventurous, legendary and treasure filled continent that exists between dimensions.
The Continent between worlds[]
The group arrive at Nate’s house in St. Peanutsberg and Nate and Whisper take Blunder and Folly to the Suspicious Room at the bottom of his house and through it he and Whisper were to take Blunder and Folly to the Cluvian Continent. Upon arriving Nate then tells Blunder and Folly about him, Hailey Anne, Buck and their Yo-kai friends fighting a blinged-up Ghoulfather in a dungeon within the continent, he begins to tell them the whole story. Once Nate finishes, the two comment that his story and fascinating and interesting and Blunder adds that the manner of the UFO’s appearance suggests that the pyramid and even the Continent istself might have been created by aliens, though he isn’t certain, he says that all evidence suggests it was aliens who made it. However he puts his theory aside for now and adds that even though the Ghoulfather was an obsessed Yo-kai seeking a mythical treasure in spite of the speculation and regardless of his methods in doing so, he did in fact manage to reach the Legendary Continent he’d been dreaming of in the end. He also says that even tough they’ve followed trail of many mysteries, the fact that they were standing on legendary continent the Ghoulfather spoke of was perhaps thanks to his dream. Whisper finds The whole thing touching, and Blunder adds that even though the Ghoulfather may have had no fate in the dreamless humans and Yo-kai who shunned him, they can all at the very least keep on dreaming just like he did, he then asks Nate if he’s right and Nate happily agrees.
Guidance[]
- (Not 100% sure) The Quest will available after defeating The Goldfather in Blasters T, all you have to do is use go to Nate’s bedroom and then head downstairs, A cutscene with Blunder and Folly will then ensue, afterwards Blunder will say that they will be at Triangle Park and the two will then leave.
- To actually activate the request just head to Triangle Park and talk to Blunder
- Once the quest is Activate go to: The Illusionary Sparkopolis, Springdale Elementary (at night), Hazeltine Mansion & The Yopple HQ.
