    • Ok... to begin, the latest episode finally has Fubuki joining the ranks of the Yo-kai Heroes by displaying her youryoku control and befriending Broken Clock, thus obtaining his YSP Medal, Clock Lady's medal, attaining her transformation at last, and a command medal, just like Kengo Benimaru and the others. Does this mean Matarou will get a YSP medal by showing his own youryoku control and perhaps transforming with Momo as his partner? We'll have to wait and see...

Now, with Medusa, Mr. Miyazawa, and Broken Clock's Mystery Medals, our heroes have encountered three of the seven mysteries, leaving Note-kun, Kyonshii, Tomomichi-kun, and Hanako-san to be encountered and battled... what will happen when all seven Mystery Medals are assembled?

What are Usumizawa-sensei's motives? Is he really evil, or just testing our heroes by turning ghosts into onryo as he knows the youths can overcome their battles?

And as for Ranto and his council, how will they act in this flood of events? What is that device attached to his wrist?

    • I just want to know if Miyazawa is an Onryou or not. Like, there are humans that can use magic in the series, but he looks an awful lot like Whisper.

Edit: Meant Usumizawa. Also AshanimeYW wrote there's a huge distinction between Yo-kai & Onryou. Is the distinction that they are corrupted Souls?

You mean Usumizawa? Because Mr. Miyazawa is the Giant Salaryman...

I agree and honestly don't like how some of the new Onryo look like Shadowside Yo-kai such as these examples.

      Clockman
      Zundoumaru
      Cyclops
      Borei Bancho

Who knows, Matarou is in the YSP Club, maybe he will get his spotlight. The 7 Mysteries may have something to do with Nayu or the UFO in the opening. Usumizawa is a mystery by himself. And finally, the device on Ranto's wrist may be a new kind of Yo-kai Watch.

Indeed... though it's still not sure if he's gonna end as sympathetic as Fukurou, in both the anime and the newly-announced game.

I thought of Cyclops being very similar to Banchou upon looking at his YSP Medal...

Though to be fair, no Onryo form can be accessed willingly, so at least we can enjoy Broken Clock and Mr. Miyazawa's mild-mannered normal forms, and much more on the former, given that he's Fubuki's partner...

Moving on, do you think other than him, the other seven mysteries will be reccurring characters? I think Kyonshii, Note-kun, and Hanako-san could be interesting just by looking at their YSP Medals.

No, but I saw the promo for it, though I don't know if I should laugh. Although I do find it funny in a certain way, given why he's doing it. But it may not make everyone laugh. Just my opinion.

That Gesu Note sure is a wacky weapon for playing pranks at everyone... The thing is, Mera did not dance naked, so it means GS' power is making his targets act ridiculous...

On second thought, we were introduced to a teacher and two supporting classmates, and we first saw Fubuki transforming for the first time... her time-slowing powers are so cool, yet, given even SHE is slowed down...

      But who?

I think that is Kumako, because I checked the Yo kai Watch website, it said that she was 14, and like, Jinpei and the other First-years are 15

Uh. . .Kengo's is with his sword, Little Commander is like, smart, can shrink, and has a blaster, Shishiou I think speciallizes in Martial Arts and fire. One of his moves requires a fire sword for him. Ninetail is agile and does these like, graceful kicks or something, Wild Boy is with his guns (Wild Shooters), and Mist Shadow was the Dark Boomerangs

    • I'm more confused about that white alien girl. She seems to be related to that spaceship. And she and whoever is in that ship are good with keeping the important parts in this anime a big secret. But I don't understand why though? Why are they doing that? They seem to be enjoying make people forget what has happened in the important episodes involving the Seven Mysteries.

Also, Ranto doesn't seem to like the YSP club getting into those Seven Mysteries. That YSP club forgetting those encounters makes them more curious. His methods don't seem to be working. I'm surprised he hasn't given up on them. Why can't he just tell them the truth? Besides, that girl knows that he and his group know the big secrets of the Seven Mysteries that she and whoever is working with her after it was revealed in the quiz show episode that she set up the quiz show to see who still knows about the bigger secrets despite her abilities.

And also, I think that Ranto knows more than the YSP Club, because he know some of his past.

I think it was to turn into Blue Moon or something.

I think that Blue Moon saved Ranto from Grey when he was seven

Because when Bluepon swallowed that first mystery medal with Koma-kun on it, he grew arms.

Exactly how many sets of mysteries are there going to be. Maybe like, season one is going to be mysteries and Season 2 is like, UFOs and that stuff

But then again, the YSP Club's memories do get erased after every UFO ecounter. . .I don't know how that relates to Ranto, but we'll just have to keep watching. . .

I guess so. We have 5 mysteries left to go right? The two are already solved despite the YSP club losing their memories after every UFO encounter.

Also what does anyone else think about this?

Uh. . .6 actually, because Sandayuu was the first one

Exactly how many sets of mysteries are there going to be. Maybe like, season one is going to be mysteries and Season 2 is like, UFOs and that stuff

Oh right yeah. Made a miscount sorry.

Also how come the characters are not using the other Onryo medals that they get from those possessed onryo yet?

Well, one thing is, in ep. 16, a blue aura came out of Nayu after Mist Shadow and Kengo defeated Big Black, and she seemed to forget why she was here, so maybe the UFO was possessing her???

And also, I think that Ranto knows more than the YSP Club, because he know some of his past.

So I'm not sure if he's an antagonist, he's just really mysterious. . .

It's a bit hard to watch it online. I use a certain site, but the episodes are recorded from the T.V.

I noticed something after this episode: Big Pakkun got destroyed and he's not featured in his episode's Mystery Medal, and Onizo Kuroda is not in his, either. Instead, Sandayuu and Jinpei, as well as his focuses in these episodes and with a clock motif, are featured. However, both Medals were swallowed by Bluepon, and here's the catch:

-When he swallowed Sandayuu's medal, he grew a pair of arms,

-and when he gulped down Jinpei's, he got a pair of legs.

Based on this, do you think this set of medals have something to do with Bluepon's growth? Does this mean that he is an immature Onryo, and feeding on these medals will eventually cause him to achieve his true form? I think so!

It's b9good.com and you need to search for 妖怪学園Y. Though if you want to see it in good quality, I won't recommend it. Plus the videos are taken directly from the TV, complete with advertising. I only use that site purely out of desperation.

Since you mentioned Blue Moon, it indeed may be related to the mysterious figure which appeared in Ranto's house, so it means Bluepon is a depowered Onryo which was used to form him. Since there is a Blue moon set coming in June, do you think this hints a new YSP Watch model? This makes me bring this leak about a YSP Watch Viper Connector custom Bezel, and this related leak about a new batch of YSP medals.

    • Hey, does anyone realize that the Yo-kai Watch Jam anime is kind of similar to Yo-kai Watch 3 at some parts?

One example is Gakkouger Y. That was kind of similar to the Blazikong T. Even more simlar? In the anime, Gakkouger Y fought Moguramos, an Uchuu Kaiju (Literally Space Monster), while in the game Blazikong T fought Yo-Kaiju. (Note the bold and italics)

Another example is a little less similar, but still. In YG016, Ranto's pendant was reacting to the object that Kumako was holding when she approached him. That's kind of like Buck's UFO Stone reacting to Ghoulfather's UFO. . .

Oh, and about the Kaiju battles, in YG011, Gakkouger Y beat Moguramos with Tetsu using a blaster. In the game, I'm assuming most people used the Blazikong T blaster to beat Yo-kaiju.

I mean, you don't have to use the soultimate for that, you can beat Yo-kaiju by just punching him

I agree! It might go on a bit longer due to the pandemic. Plus I haven't heard anything on M07 yet.

With background knowledge, I think after the final Y Circle (Bluepon True Form), that's when it'll end, so I'll predict that YG025 will close off Season 1- The prequel to M06 and the anime (yg001), 3 sets of mysteries, and three Y circles.

Wonder what season 2 will be about. Aliens? UFOs? Backstory on the characters, Student council, more stuff on the school mafia/police, the disciplinary system?

And will the YSP actually NOT have the UFO or Nayu erase their memory at least once?

Maybe it will show what happened to him and Nurarihyon when he tried to attack that blue light on the final episode of Yo-kai Watch!

Wonder what season 2 will be about. Aliens? UFOs? Backstory on the characters, Student council, more stuff on the school mafia/police, the disciplinary system?

And will the YSP actually NOT have the UFO or Nayu erase their memory at least once?

      We just have to see.
      Most indeed
      yep.

But I'm still assuming that season 1 will have 25 episodes. 21 mysteries, 3 Y circles, and 1 prequel

And I mentioned Mafia/police because the police appeared in YG016, and Chiaki is a mafia member.

If they get 25 episode, then will they be done with the show?

Hmmm... on this third set of mysteries, I've only seen six Mystery Medals on the upcoming series 5, so unless there's another one coming on series 6, that'd make a total of 20, and so far three of those medals were gulped by Bluepon in order to reach his true form, so it's very unlikely for a 3rd circle to appear. Though 25 episodes to tell the entire story is a bit rushed.

Me as well. I wonder if Enma's apperances in this series are a foreshadowing of some big event. Though Mrs. Enra also stated her knowledge on Yo-kai (there were even traditional images, most if not all of them corresponding to Yo-kai in the main series) when talking with Kumako and how are they different to Onryo. Could the two worlds meet someday?

I'm pretty sure in episode 16, when they were going to the 2nd Y Circle, Sandayuu had a map of Y Academy which had marked the locations of the Y Circles and there were 3 spots marked.

Ok... and that supports my statement that 25 episodes is not enough. Jinpei and co. need seven Mystery medals to open that circle, and so far, Bluepon consumed four of those. It's pretty likely another batch of Mysteries is coming.

      I meant, if there's 3 batches of mysteries, I meant 24, because 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 are the mysteries, then teh final Y Circle.

And plus, Bluepon already has clothes, and Season 1 with 24 episodes seems reasonable enough. Then I think it's gonna be like, Student Council/ Disciplinary Commitee/ Alien confrontations.

But maybe there is another batch of mysteries, we'll just have to find out then. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And yeah, I remeber there was a part in YG016 where Sandayuu hsa a map of Gakuen City on his phone showing 3 Y Circles, so there's most likely gonna be 3 batches of mysteries to unlock them. (As we know, the 1st and 2nd have already been unlocked).

Remember at the end of YG016 where a blue aura left Nayu and she seemed to forget everything? Remember that mysterious alien in the UFO at the beginning at YG016? I think Nayu may be posessed by the UFO, and that alien that appeared for about 3 seconds at the begining may have been the antagonist. What's really mysterious about THAT particular alien? He just said something, and we didn't get to see his face. That kind of gives me that "this guy is an antagonist" vibe.

      Indeed...

      [SPOILER AHEAD]

Remember the very last scene of YW036?

Well, it wasn't foreshadowing Yo-kai Watch 4; Soranaki indeed destroyed the Yo-kai World, and apparently from the wreckage, the power of three cat Yo-kai (Kengo Benimaru, Wild Boy, and Blue Moon) emerged. Lord Enma (in a new outfit) emerged from Emma and explained Principal Daiouji that these cat powers are needed against the invaders.

I know Nayu's possessed already. So you are saying that his wig is not a power source from all the negative energy from the Onryo? I am impressed by Enra though. She managed to catch Usumizawa in the act of transforming all of those Onryo. I wonder if she recorded those events that happened with those Y-circles. Did she maybe?

I was reading a sample for the Movie Manga (in Japanese) and it starts off with a 4-year-old Matarou. But then after that first section, it says "9 years later"

      Manga: https://shogakukan.tameshiyo.me/9784091431288

SpecterSubs is currently trying to translate it. They got the first section down.

And also, it says that Matarou (and the other first-years) are junior-high school students. I'm positive that's simply just "middle school."

    • her name is morina, though i don't know how to read her surname. i wonder what she'll be in the episode.

well, just looking up the kanjis, might be tsuchiko or tojiko. but tojiko morina, her name looks like adodabat's japanese name, but ok. just wait for the episode for confirmatons of the reading lol

Indeed... looks like those three have no real personality, which is a bit startling.

    • So I saw episode 21. So the principal knows about Lord Enma. Does that mean he is aware that he was a yokai before and was Lord Enma's father? And also I also noticed that before Lord Enma can explain everything else, seems like he started to have a heart attack or seizure before going back into Emma. Seems like he could only appear in physical form for a short time. Was this due being too damaged by Soranaki or something else? Or is this something very worse?

On the bright side,Zence and Raice are my new favorite Onryo. They are like the stand-up comedians of Onryo. But remind me again, what did Maeno Zen say before he got inspirited?

If Bluepon was eating all this set of Mystery Medals in order to reach his perfect form, it's obvious Blue Moon was always meant as a transformation, and now Jinpei has Bluepon's Summon Medal and Blue Moon's Transformation and Command Medals.

Now that the Gakuen Mafia is to be introduced, Chiaki's long-teased debut is near.

I would say that the Onryo partner for the 10th Yo-kai Hero would be at the Y Circle, if the 10th hero has one.

(Yes it's weird that I'm quoting myself) Well, if there's a tenth hero, it depends what watch model (well, atcually, depends who the watcher is, id it's Ranto he wouldn't need a partner)  It can be the figure who was originally mistaken for Blue Moon in YG016.

And speaking of partners/travel companions, any news on who Chiaki's partner is? I'm pretty sure he's gonna have one since technically he has a YSP Watch Model.

Episode 22 was Y-Tube. I didn't watch it yet (not risking pop-ups/ads and bad quality). Ranto's Pendant played a minor role in YG016.

Most likely there is yet another set of Mystery Medals. Definitely, season 1 will last more than 25 episodes, as Chiaki is yet to be introduced and Nayu and Usumizawa (and the greater-scope villains behind them) haven't been stopped.

Hmm... Yeah now you mention it.

And what role do you think Shinobu Kageno's gonna play? All I know is that he's most likely on Nayu's side since that it said he is a part of the Disciplinary Committee.

And it's official: Chiaki makes his debut in episode 23, I checked the website today.

Edit: Previewed episode 24 this morning. Ranto's still trying to get the mafia on his side, and Sky Snaker is gonna make is debut, so there is definitely more than 25 episodes. You're right.

There were always references to popular culture since the first anime. For example, in YG012, after the Future Science Club members get beaten up by PD700R Custom, they eat a kind of seed that resembles the Senzu Beans from Dragon Ball in order to fully recover; even so, they briefly speak with accents resembling those of the characters in the original Japanese version!

For example, in YG012, after the Future Science Club members get beaten up by PD700R Custom, they eat a kind of seed that resembles the Senzu Beans from Dragon Ball in order to fully recover; even so, they briefly speak with accents resembling those of the characters in the original Japanese version!

I guess you're right. Who knows, they could references Disney's Pirates of the Carabbian.

    • Huh. Never caught those references before. Why did YG025 have to portray child abuse?

    • Wait, remember Space Wars from Original Series Episode 39?

    • Also I can't wait for the opening to change. Maybe in episode 26-27?

Child Abuse was when Cyber Kinya was flinging Jinpei, Sandayuu, Matarou, Ranto, amd Chiaki when they were trying to get past him. Can't wait for the opening to change either.

And the point I'm trying to make with that reference was that was the movie that Nate didn't want spoiled in the Original Series but it DID get spoiled by a couple o' unaware Movie-Goers.

    • So apparently from what was shown in episode 26 of Yo-kai Watch Jam, apparently the students with the red eyes are being controlled by small, less powerful, blue ailens. But it seems Nayu is possessed by something else. Does the boss ailen in the spaceship have a expert strategist with him? And did Kuuka say she was an ailen when Ranto was talking to her at the end of the episode?

Hello? Grey Agents? And about that, rewatch YG016, where it shows the interior of what I think is the N UFO, then pause at where it shows this mysterious alien. Can it be that alien perhaps?

Well that's the thing. We don't know what he does exactly so I don't know if it is really that ailen as of now.

Kuuka is not an alien, she is Kumako under an alias.

So that explains that training session in episode 26.

I'm only doing this just to recap what has happened in the recent episodes so far and how it all connects to the mystery of the invaders. That's fine right?

    • Yeah, that's fine.

I wonder when we're gonna have a new OP because the animation for Gingira Ginga is really outdated XD

Edit: I think soon. I just checked the Shadowside OPs and the second one came out starting with SS027. Next week is gonna be YG027 so...

      Perhaps then?

I used a web translator and it says that the Fuki Tower (aka the Disciplinary Committee Building) is "tall enough to overlook the entire Y-Academy," and "constantly monitors the school".

But I still don't get why Nayu and her gang are just randomly disbanding clubs and controlling the Police just to get a higher status over the Student Council (as YG023's blurb states. Headmaster, SC, and DC are supposed to have equivalent authority over the student body). I think there's more to this.

I don't know. I never caught that line, and Matarou didn't really interrupt them. Students were just watching and then Nayu left.
Oh. Guess she didn't want the other students to know?
Well, most likely. I think that the YSP Club does have a slight idea, though.

But there were other students so I guess that she didn't want them to know.

I guess those students ruined her moment. But you know the spaceship might come again or Nayu using her powers to make YSP club forget the important details again. So how is that going to be countered?
Who knows? Ranto or Chiaki better be with them at that time to help them fill in. I mean, what happened in YG008/16 did eventually come back to the YSP Club in YG024.
Since Kumako is back, maybe she could secretly make those gadgets that she, Ranto, and her friends have to make sure that they won't be affected by the memory forgetting powers?
Hm, probably. We'll just have to keep watching the series.
Also, do you get the feeling that the YSP club, Ranto and his friends, and Chiaki and his friends are being watched the whole entire time?
Well, most likely. Check this page out: https://www.youkai-watch.jp/yokai-gakuen-y-info/map/

I used a web translator and it says that the Fuki Tower (aka the Disciplinary Committee Building) is "tall enough to overlook the entire Y-Academy," and "constantly monitors the school".

I guess it was a good idea for the ailens to use Nayu as their puppet. Also at the end of episode 25, did Jinpei really had to look up Enra Natsuki on the hacker group's computer?
It was already there for Enra's "swimwear shots" (mizugi means swimwear), Jinpei didn't look it up. But it wasn't neccessary for him to actually *almost* click on the folder. Looks like the prison isn't only meant for bad grades lol

But here's the thing with Nayu. Did she get abducted? Or was it kind of like Ranto's situation?

That we don't know. We just have to see for ourselves as the series continues.

Yeah, we should just continue watching.

I have a prediction that when they defeat the invaders everyone that is a mutant will revert back to normal (I hope that happens). And about Enma. I wonder what role he will play in this series, but I haven't hear anything about him in the series.

What about that mysterious voice in the first Y Circle? I checked and it's voiced by the same person who voices Enma. What could that be all about, and who does that voice belong to?

Only one thing that still puzzles me in episode 26. What was Nayu saying to Ranto after Kuuka failed to extract the ailen possessing her before Tamada interrupted them?

Also, do you think we will see Ranto's family as Onryo, and see Emma Daidouji have a form like Lord Enma, and see Chiaki's mutated friends again?
I'm not sure. Ranto's family is *perhaps* mutated (since that I'm pretty sure that they're abducted), and I'm not sure about Chiaki's friends.

Maybe it's him actually. There was a silouette of him talking to Goromi in that episode of the first Y-Circle.
Yeah, but I thought that Enma was possessing Emma. Based on YG021, I'm pretty sure that he's been possessing her since she was a baby.
Also it seems like Lord Enma has a limited time of being in the physical world at the end of YG021.
Indeed. Looks like that possessing Emma is the only way that he can maintain his strength.

I wonder who Nurarihyon is possessing?

    • I noticed something everytime we are introduced to a new Onryo. Why didn't the Y-Club members get summon medals for each new Onryo they fight and defeat?

Oh. Because truth be told, I like their appearances and moves. Wished they could stay longer. Maybe they might appear in the final battle just like in Shadowside.
