Tongue-Twister (Japanese: はなしカミ, Hanashikami) is a Rank C, Fire-attribute Yo-kai of the Heartful tribe introduced in Yo-kai Watch 3.

In Yo-kai Watch 3, Tongue-Twister is one of the Yo-kai required to unlock Elder Bloom.

Biology[]

Tongue-Twister resembles a light pink, floating Buddha, wearing a golden, sparkling helmet. His eyes are droopy, and he wears 2 golden braclets on each wrist, yellow pants, a purple necklace, and a large purple tongue hang out of his mouth. He has a little yellow dot on the center of his forehead.

Whomever Tongue-Twister inspirits, they "chew" on important/dramatic scenes far more than necessary.

Tongue-Twister can be found in Northbeech. He can also be found in Blasters T in in the Cluvian Keyhole ①, Cluphinx Raised Paw ①, ② and ③, Comic Genieus' Labyrinth and in Mt Cluvimpus - Hinozall Awoken.

He can also be freed from the Crank-a-kai with a Legend Coin.

Yo-kai Watch Busters 2[]

Tongue-Twister can be found in the 2nd and 3rd Karakuria Tower, Karakuria Tower Hidden Room 2, and Karakuria Tower Hidden Room 3.

Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble[]

Tongue-Twister was obtainable in an event that lasted from August 16th 2017 to August 31st 2017, where he appeared in certain locations on the map.

Etymology[]

Hanashikami's name is a wordplay on "Story god" (Japanese: 話神, Hanashi-kami) and "teething" (Japanese: カミカミ, Kamikami)

"Tongue-Twister" comes from the phrase "Tongue-twister" (a meaning often used when words get mixed up and pronounced incorrectly).

Trivia[]

Tongue-Twister does not have his real life medal counterpart.
Due to the length of Tongue-Twister's name, Tongue-Twist's soul is shortened to "Tongue-Twist Sl."
