Ultimate Bear Boy is a side quest in Yo-kai Watch 2. The quest can be started by talking to Bear in his room on the 3rd floor of the Bernstein House. It is recommended to be done at around Level 29 and Watch Rank A. The quest requires the completion of Who's That Girl and Bear Boy Returns.
Quest[]
Before accepting the quest, the player talks to Bear , who asks them, if they've watched the new Victorious Mask movie. He then proceeds to explain shortly, what the movie is about. The players reminds Bear, that they're supposed to be looking for a tough enemy for Bear Boy, to which Bear replies, that he's looking for a rival like Glorious Mask, a character from Victorious Mask, who's reappearing from the past. Whisper suggests someone like Moximous as a rival for Bear Boy. Bear remarks, that there aren't any toys for the new movie yet, but still some from 60 years ago, as Glorious Mask appeared back then, though it's all super-expensive collector's stuff now. Whisper remarks, that the player could get him some old merchandise from 60 years ago, by travelling to the past.
After travelling to the past, the player talks to a man, about to throw put a "perfectly good cutout". The man then tells them, that he runs a cinema and doesn't want to throw out a superhero cutout. The players tells him, that they'll take it, which the man agrees to.
Bear seems surprised by the Hero Cutout, practically overflowing with joy. After suggesting to practice fighting on the cutout, which Eddie advises against, Bear, now slightly annoyed, threatens Eddie, he'll practice on him. Eddie replies, that Superheroes were boring and that robot shows were better. This annoys Bear even more. Bear then wants to practice on the player, but the remembers they don't watch the show either. Whisper feels sad for Bear, but explains, that a Yo-kai can inspirit Eddie, to be Bears partner. He suggests Supoor Hero.
After summoning Supoor Hero, he inspirits Eddie, turning him into Officer Eddie. After an epic fighting scene, they jump off the building.
While chasing after the two, the player talks to an old man, a high schooler, another high schooler, the latter of which sending the player to the observation platform at top of Mt. Wildwood. While looking through the binoculars on the observation platform, you see Bear's Mother berating him, as has happened in the previous quests of this line.
The player goes to Bear and checks on him. Bear was happy with the fight between him and Eddie, until Eddie ran away. Bear followed Eddie home thinking the fight was still ongoing, but was then yelled at by Eddie's mom too. Bear's mom told her son, he couldn't keep the standee, so he gives it back to the player. Whisper wonders about Supoor Hero, who the appears in the room completely exhausted telling the player he couldn't keep going, as Eddie is rich and would have caused him to part ways with his powers. Bear still doesn't give up, waiting for the player's superhero to awaken in them.
