Venoctobot (Japanese: メカオロチ Meka Orochi) is a Rank S Lightning-attribute Rare, 'Merican Yo-kai of the Tough Tribe introduced in Yo-kai Watch 3. He is a mechanical version of Venoct.

In Yo-kai Watch Busters 2, he is one of the Yo-kai required to unlock Whyvern King.

Biology[]

As a robotic version of Venoct, Venoctobot has the same appearance like him, but unlike Venoct, he is consisted of metal and has a different coloration: Venoctobot's metal skin is a light grey, his eyes, hair and overcoat is sky blue and regular blue respectively, the belt on the overcoat is purple, the kimono is colored red and black differently, his shin covers are red, and, ironically, the gloves remain the same. He wears glove-like things on his arms, only leaving his fingers bare.

The mechanical scarf wrapped around his neck is golden yellow instead of sky blue, and its dragon heads gained pointier horns.

Also, his golden colored sandals function as rockets.

Venoctobot makes his debut in EP186 where he meets up to fight against Venoct, Shadow Venoct and Illuminoct. The three Yo-kai are terrified of Venoctobot's strength however he falls short when his dragon cannons run out of charge.

Etymology[]

  • "Mecha Orochi" combines "Mecha" a shorter word for (Mechanical) and Venoct's Japanese name: Orochi.
  • "Venoctobot" is a portmanteau of Venoct and robot.
