Wakaretaro is the reincarnated form of Shmoopie. He has the same appearance as his previous incarnation, only his skin is blue and carries a broken heart with a sad expression on his face.
During the Reincarnated Yo-kai Appear ~Ikemengyo~ event, the player can crank Wakaretaro from the Reincarnation Crank-a-kai. Alternatively, he was a prize for ranking in the top 101–300 players during the event.

Wakaretaro is a combination of the Japanese word "Wakare," which means a Farewell or a separation in, and "Taro," a common pet name for dogs in Japan.
