Wayfarer Beach (Japanese: さすらいビーチ Sasurai bīchi) is located in the southern part of the Busters Camp and acts as an replacement for the Wayfarer Coliseum featured in Yo-kai Watch Blasters. It only appears in Yo-kai Watch Busters 2. It allows the player to battle Wayfarer Teams from other players who have activated the StreetPass function.

Overview[]

The Wayfarer Beach is located at the southern part of the Busters Camp. It features a wooden sign with a number indicating the amount of Wayfarer Teams. It's hosted by Rhinoggin and Beetler.

Unlocking the Feature[]

WayfarerBeachBattle

Gameplay of a fight against Indy Jaws G. Such special fights get unlocked by QR Codes or having a save file of YW3.

The feature is unlocked in Chapter 2. After returning from a dungeon, the Busters go to the southern part of their camp. There they talk to Rhinoggin and Beetler, which explain how the Wayfarer Beach works.

Function[]

The Wayfarer Beach is located in the southern part of the Busters Camp. Firstly you have to talk to Rhinoggin to get your own team registered. With that, Wayfarer Teams from other players will come. The amount of Wayfarer Teams will be displayed on the wooden sign. When the number increases, the player can simply talk to Rhinoggin and then select the team they want to battle. In the case that the number on the wooden sign doesn't change, the player can tap on "Update StreetPass." Winning will get the player Oni Orbs and Ghastly Fragments. Consecutive wins get bonus Oni Orbs.

The player should talk to Beetler if they wish to encounter special teams. Talking to Beetler triggers a cutscene of the special Yo-kai in question, as long as the conditions are fulfilled. Then the special team can simply be selected when talking with Rhinoggin.

It should be noted that Yo-kai defeated in the Wayfarer Beach cannot be befriended.

Befriending Pandanoko[]

Occasionally, the player will encounter Pandanoko via StreetPass. A specific amount of StreetPasses are not required.

Befriending Pandanoko can be difficult, that's why it is advised to use Yo-kai with the skill "Popularity" in order to increase their chances.

Unfortunately the player can't reset the game without saving to battle Pandanoko all over again if they fail to befriend them on their first try, as the game autosaves before the Yo-kai is battled.

Trivia[]
