A map of the Y-Academy Campus.

Y-Academy (Japanese: Y学園 Wai gakuen) is a boarding school which is the main setting of the Y School Heroes series. It is divided into five different areas which all serve a purpose for students and staff.

It is a boarding school set in an expansive campus, which has a pletheroa of classes, activities and clubs they have to offer for the students.

Students who have talent in a specific skill or hobby are widely accepted, thus making clubs dedicated to such skill. They either get accepted by having the form filled out or on occasions get accepted by one of the staff members themselves.

Most of the students stay in the school's dormitory, where they each have a room of their own as well as giving them a place to study. Others go home normally in the nearby suburban neighborhood area, where most of them live.

Uniforms[]

Each student has a uniform that have five different color schemes depending on which class or club the student enrolls in. They mainly apply to clubs that occur at the school, where students with a certain uniform color are seen there.

  • A red uniform relates to YSP, (Yo-kai Special Power), who have an interest in supernatural discoveries or are known to possess a certain power. However, only two students, respectively Jinpei Jiba and Sandayuu Koma, have both been enrolled due to their powers besides using the YSP Watch.
  • Uniforms with a blue color relates to performing arts, such as art, drama or music classes. Ryuusuke Kyuubi and Chiaki Hebiyama both have an interest in it.
  • A uniform with a white color scheme relates to IT and technology, where students study and tinker with electronics while they create inventions. Fubuki Himekawa is known to be into tech, and has invented a pair of hovering shoes.
  • A green uniform are those who get into Y-Academy by applying with a scholarship, who are known to have immense knowledge of a subject they desire. Matarou Tamada and Ranto Kirigakure are two examples.
  • An orange uniform are for people who apply for sports, which mainly specializes in soccer, tennis and other sports the campus has to offer. Mera Raido is known to be one of the notable examples.
