Yakimochi Gan Ryou (Japanese: やきモチ顔良 (がんりょう), Yakimochi Gan Ryō) is a Rank D Fire-attribute Commander Yo-kai of the Brave tribe introduced in Yo-kai Sangokushi.

He is the Yo-kai Sangokushi counterpart of Minochi.

Biology

Yakimochi Gan Ryou heavily resembles Minochi, the major difference being that he is wearing a chinese armor consisting in a bronze helmet with wooden coloration and a blue armor on his low body.

Etyomology

Name origin

Yan Liang (Japanese: 顔良, Gan Ryō) was a powerful and trusted general under the warlord Yuan Shao during the late Eastern Han dynasty. Known for his bravery and strength, he played a key role in Yuan Shao's campaign against Cao Cao but was famously slain in single combat by Guan Yu at the Battle of Boma. Despite his fearsome reputation, his quick defeat elevated Guan Yu’s legendary status and marked one of the early turning points in the conflict between Yuan Shao and Cao Cao.
