The "Kuroi Medals" (Japanese: 黒いメダル Kuroi Medaru) are only compatible with DX Yo-kai Watch Dream Model (requires version 3 update and newer), DX Kuroi Yo-kai Watch and newer. The QR codes on the back of these medals does not work with Yo-kai Watch, Yo-kai Watch 2, Yo-kai Watch Blasters, or Yo-kai Sangokushi. The only exception to this is the Dandoodle medal, which is supported on all but the first game. First released on February 18, 2017, it is the first and only Kuroi Medal blind pack release.
