The Yo-kai Watch♪ (Japanese: 妖怪ウォッチ♪ Yōkai Wotchi♪) anime, officially known in English as Yo-kai Watch: Reborn is an animated Japanese comedy-action-adventure series, which is the successor to Y School Heroes. It premiered on April 9, 2021 and concluded on March 31, 2023.
Overview[]
It follows the adventures of Nathan Adams, Jibanyan and Whisper, continuing the episodic segment format that was previously established in the original anime series and the Yo-kai Watch! series.
It takes place after the Yo-kai Watch! series where all of Nate's Yo-kai Watch models he has collected have gone into repairs, so he gets an enhanced original Yo-kai Watch model from Whisper as a replacement, that recognizes all types of Yo-kai Medals.

- This is the first Yo-kai Watch anime series:
- To use different sound effects in comparison to the 2014 and 2019 series.
- To have short segments included within the episode titles.
- To use cut-ins from Y School Heroes.
- To split a movie into 2 episodes, the 97th & 98th episodes, which also serves as the series finale.
- This is also the second Yo-kai Watch series to take place in the 2020s rather than the 2010s, the first being the second segment in M02. The only difference is that the characters are the exact same age, hence the series taking on a floating timeline format.
