The ability for a Yo-kai to hold two equipment slots simultaneously was introduced in Yo-kai Watch 2. This mechanic allows a handful of Yo-kai to hold two pieces of equipment at a time, rather than one. In Yo-kai Watch 2, it was exclusive to Yo-kai with low ranks. But there are now S-Rank Yo-kai with 2 equipment slots, such as Hovernyan Cao Cao and Deadcool.
